You mean the b link Bluetooth? I have one on the way. Awesome bring able to keep it hooked up and make changes on the fly without a pc or laptop on our phones!!!!
Great video for adjusting the Basic functions in Castle ESC's. However if you want to get into further fine tuning, I highly recommend getting the Castle Link Programmer USB adapter. There are many more adjustable parameters in the software. I run various Mamba's in all my models now because of it. By the way, All new Castle ESC's that are Link compatible come with a Coupon code for a free Castle Link(you pay Shipping) from Castle.
Good video>Thanx. My esc doesnt accept my changes. I ve tried several times. At the end of programming, do you just power down and the changes are saved? Is there a way to default to factory settings?
Video very helpful thanks for taking time to help the ones that need. So I need little more help but first a question- Can It be used for drag racing? If so could you just send me a safe number set-up? Something aggressive not so much to damage motor. I have a 5200mah Zeee 50c 7.4 Or 5000mah Vernon 30c 7.4 Lipo's... Witch battery
You can use it for drag racing yeah. However, the initial strain on the motor with all the torque needed will generate a lot more heat. Definitely use batteries with higher C rating for this kind of harsh use, so the Zee 5200mah 50C or better. 1:1 2:2 3:1 4:4 (most important setting for your application) 5:1 6:3 7:2 8:1 9:1 I would've responded quicker but youtube didn't notify me of your comment, argh!
Sounds like you have forward/reverse inversed. Here what I would do: (if you want reverse to be slower as intended) Figure out how to invert forward and reverse on your transmitter. It should be in the manual. Next swap any 2 wires going from esc to motor. That should fix it. If you dont care about reverse speed then just increase reverse speed to 100%
Set Step 6(Motor Direction) to Option 2 in when programming. That will Reverse motor direction. Set your Transmitter throttle to normal, not reverse and leave your wiring alone. A to A, B to B... etc. You can also set Motor Direction in Castle Link(which I highly recommend).
Awesome. Any recommendations for a transmitter/receiver? I have an Axial Yeti with a Mamba Monster X/HH Puller Pro bl 540 standard 3500kv. What do I need to look for when choosing a Transmitter/receiver? Thanks again?
The best thing to do is look on forums online to see what people have the best experience with. Based of off others opinions you can pick a combo that best suits you. The only thing that matters past your initial research is how many channels you need to operate your vehicle. That includes the amount of channels on your receiver AND your transmitter. You'll always have Ch1 for your servos that correspond to the wheel, and Ch2 for your ESC connection which corresponds to the throttle. If you just want the rig to work as a moving vehicle, you don't need any additional channels. But if you wanted to operate a dip switch on your transmitter that turned lights on and off on the machine, you need a extra receiver channel, along with a switch on the transmitter.
@@GenesisRC I figured it out actually. I read on a forum that the fan doesnt start spinning until the esc reaches 150 degrees. I ran it up on the stand and after giving it throttle for a little bit the fan clicked on when it got hot
Boa tarde tenho esc mamba micro pro ele desprogramou só vai para um sentido já tentei calibrar mas não em modo de calibração alguém sabe me dizer se tem outro meio de programar.
"Good afternoon I have a micro mamba pro it deprogrammed it just goes in one direction I tried to calibrate but not in calibration mode can someone tell me if there is another way to program." You can buy the castle link card from castle. I believe you get a coupon for it for free when you buy a new system. Translated: Você pode comprar o cartão de ligação do castelo no castelo. Acredito que você recebe um cupom gratuitamente quando compra um novo sistema.
I have a mamba monster system from 2011 can't seem to follow u, maybe it's me skipping steps or something I'll watch u set up again....I'll pause video a few times..thx for getting back with me
From what I looked up you can't change the BEC voltage from transmitter programming. You need the castle link to change those settings, which is a shame..
