That cushioned underlayer is going to absorb so much water and rot that wood in less than 2 years

I guess this is not ideal for a rental where the landlord would not fully appreciate his rotted out deck.

Providing it slopes a little ,will run off edge. A friend has installed this over a year ago and doing well. Had the same query myself. My deck board is a mess as nothing stays on. May consider this product.

do i really need that base layer for deck or i can just lay the fake grass. i mean i would imagine those wont feel good when it rains alot and soaked.

down to the groundwater,from there it may go to a geyser and spray up again to once again evaporate and re rain on the plants n animals, Heck, I shoulda been a scientist!
