So I was just about to strip my machine down and attempt to replace the drain pump when I did what this guy said and checked what I believe he called the “impeller”. I did and found a tiny corner of a clothes label sticking out. I whipped that little bleep out and voila fully functioning machine again - won’t have to take to the tip and buy a new one thanks to these extremely helpful tutorials. lol i have just found a clothes label jammed in mine too i uncrewed the filter and checked if anything was stuck in that but never looked into the fan at the back and there it was and my washer is silently humming again now.
This video was very helpfull i wanted to buy a new Washing machine but this easy fix save me 600 euro. The new pump Cost me 26 euro. Many thanks greetings from the netherlands 🇳🇱

Great video. Just to add, if you're having drainage issues there's a worthwhile task you can do whilst you have this machine on its side. There's a large black rubber hose that connects the drum area to the drain. In this video its the one to the right of the grey hose. Carefully unscrew the screw clamp and lift the hose off where it connects to the drain. You'll see the design allows debris to accumulate in the area (In mine were lots of coins and bits). Clean it out and reattach the hose and tighten up the screw clamp. Worth doing since you have the machine out and can access the area easily.

I couldnt get the pump filter out, it came out unconnected. Mad thing is I had just had a tumble dryer delivered because the old one died... now i can't drain the washing machine or spin dry. I might just cry.
We have a french Vedetta wash machine my wife says made funny noise and water leaked out I opened her up the washing machine but is there some electric test on the pump ?
My Lindo 100 won’t drain. The water level is high so I can’t open the door. Any suggestion where to start to open the door and drain the water, before carry on with inspecting the pump etc?
Does it matter if the connections are reversed accidentally? For example if we attache the red wire to the other connector. Would the pump impeller rotate in the other direction?
Hi, SlverL7Modder on some brands the connections may be keyed to ensure you know which way they came out but don't worry as it will not reverse the motor as they can go either way.
Hi John, it would depend on the model but generally, they are clipped in, we usually use a flat blade screwdriver to pop the clips to release the base.
