Man I been flipping these melody’s just like your tutorial explained. Dam babygirl my eyes is getting watery. Shit is on 🔥🔥🔥right about now. I love you ❤️
Wow! Never knew that this "equals" button existed. When you changed the velocity on the base notes i was like "wish i knew this before" xD Thank you very much for this tutorial!
That was so dope!!! I'm a keyboard player and I tend to play the same way, like many of us do, so I was looking for a way to come up with different ways to approach my harmonies. This tut is exactly what I need. And that razor trick! Wow! I would have never thought of that! I'm gonna jazz up my House music trax now!!! Thanks for another absolutely GREAT tutorial!!! I SO dig you!!!
Damn! You're good. I have used all of these tools in Reason, but have never taken the time to learn what all of the different features do (and why I would care to learn). You've got me seriously excited to get in and explore the possibilities. Thanks for what you do. Keep up the good work!
hey I've been composing since 2006 and I always check out your videos when I find myself in Reason for all your shortcuts, tips and approaches... super helpful! Also you are so calm and serene, inspires me to slow down!
Thank you for making this video!! Seems like simple stuff, but this is awesome what can be done with these simple techniques. You've opened up a whole new musical world. I was starting to feel stagnant, but this really helps!!
Awesome..I got to say, ive learned more in the short time ive followed your chanel than i have in using reason since version 1 !!!!! yep you heard it.... Quite a part time user and did skip a few years here and there, but im back on it again... I also enjoy your sound packs through REASON + Companion.... keep em coming... Just brilliant..
Thank you for sharing this video, you dropped so many jewels, I never knew you could copy the full chords to track from the scales and chord player 🤯🤯🤯 and the razor tool to chop midi notes for more melody is insane I’ve been looking for Something to help me with that and now I know. 🔪🔪🔪🎹🎹🎹
I knew about send to track but from that point forward I learnt A LOT! Especially about the features within the tool menu, which I hadn’t explored. Thank you, Jelie. I’m totally inspired now.
Your dope ....I guess all these years of practicing learning from the greats...doesn't matter no more...ima take a break press record and let my cat walk across my keyboard fix it with one click of a key and make Bambi a RU-vid channel
7:52 You don't have to select all notes before editing a whole clip. Just click inside the clip (not selecting any notes) and you can access all options in the Tools window.
I prefer to hit command A/control A rather than Q if I’m using a different tool than the mouse and then double clicking inside the clip, however I will be sure to mention the option next time. Thank you!
How do I get into BLOCK/SONG mode? I'm in Reason 11 and can't find it anywhere! I checked out your video on it and I don't see anything that resembles | BLOCK | SONG | - just trying to add markers!
I have a question you know an FL when you're in piano roll and you select the scale you want. It shows you on the side of the piano roll with key that you're in. Does it do that in reason I haven't seen the video for it? That's one feature why I keep going back to FL because it's very helpful. Does reason have that feature I know that it shows you the C but can it show the other keys
