To be honest Elementor should be doing this not third-party plugins. I don’t mean to deter plugin developers but Elementor uses subscription model like adobe and the features are always based on hype and not about features that would really bring a good UX. I reached to Elementor but they said that there’s no point about these features and here it is and their implementation is really great. If third-party can do it, I don’t see why Elementor Cant. 🤕

It is enticing, though i have used it with an older version before on a client site and at some point (Elementor Updates) it broke the whole site. So I guess for now I will be waiting for the official Classes feature and use my own classes system in the meantime. Yes that's a bit more work, but it is more robust for production sites.

This would be sooo nice - if it would also support margins. But like this, when I have to write half of the css manually anyway it is not so useful unfortunately.

When we talk about padding and margin, why we should use rem instead of percentages? What is the difference?

Good question. Padding is the space on the inside and Margin on the outside. So to create space on the inside of each container it's better to use padding, because with margins you would get big gaps. Please be careful with this. I installed it and it changed my text across the entire site without any warning. OK, I understand that's the point, this is *intended* to modify text site-wide, but a warning may have been nice. And worst of all - removing the plugin did *not* revert all the text back to what it was before. Site-wide. Obviously I had a backup so reverting wasn't a big deal (thanks Duplicator!).

Have you considered switching to one of the professional page builders? For example, Bricks or Oxygen. If not, why?

Mostly convenience for me and my clients. I have built with elementor since 2017 and I know every aspect of it from muscle memory. I can answer all questions quickly to my clients about functionality and anticipate bugs/conflicts. To use another builder would mean few years learning curve to fully understand the product and community. And I would still have to maintain old clients websites in elementor. Some people don't like elementor and advocate other builders but I have never had any (huge) problems with it and was always able to build what was required.

I switched to Elementor few weeks ago, before I used WPBakery (that is Bootstrap based). I built my personal plugins to tweak both, and to add/replace some widgets. I never used Bricks or Oxygen. My balance between code oriented website and page builder oriented is still in progress, i do many evaluations to find the most efficient way. I tested Elementor some years ago but I was not happy, crappy responsiveness. Then I noticed the increase of popularity it had in the last 2 years, many themes use it, and having the free version more people know it, some customers want it. I am not happy with the dirty HTML code it outputs, but I accept it until performances are good enough. Elementor has been enhanced a lot, the responsive grid is good, and containers are very flexible, also, the Theme Builder is cool to set up header, footer, archive pages and single pages templates. Therefore I find it very powerful in the PRO version. It has a better community, they update and add features frequently. Bricks and Oxygen have less community, less everything. I am not sure about what they add, but honestly i still prefer to stick with the main beast than to ride some exotic thing doomed to be obliterated by history.

I would agree with @ak47marx16 - It's painful to switch and it's just nice that many clients already know Elementor. But I have mentioned Bricks multiple times already and I think it's a great product. I even tried to convince people to buy Bricks on black friday because now it's still affordable and in a few years from now it may be as well integrated with other tools as Elementor (another argument). So I am also sticking with Elementor since Elementor is really pushing out a lot of great features. So I wouldn't recommend Oxygen since development has slowed down, so Bricks (if you want to move away from Elementor) would be my recommendation for now.

@@multa7053 i know 😂😂 WordPress provides speed and ease in creating simple websites such as landing pages, blogs, online shops, etc. Ofc real fron't end programing can do more but not as fast as WordPress
