It may have been an ancestor of barcodes. The Electronic Colour Code began in the 1920s to mark the values of components in radios. There are 10 colours for digits and two more fore degrees of precision.
Hiho, Thank you! I would probably go and search on the Internet for companies specializing in cryptology. There are plenty and a quick Google research shows many :-). In Germany, I would know a few companies working in crypto and ask them. Also, having a look at some institute's websites and agencies like German BSI, U.S. NSA, etc. probably is also a good idea. Often, they also offer support or at least know and recommend companies. Finally, I would also go and have a look in job portals e.g. Xing and LinkedIn. You could also create an RFP and write what you are specifically looking for, so that people can apply for it. Greetings, Nils
