I'm with you on the statement at the end. It is a great place, both the natural & built environment. Whoever commissions the stuff for the public realm is doing a great job of putting LA on the map & providing an interesting place to live - the Longest Bench, The East Beach Cafe & the sea shell stage along with the flowers around town etc. I'm happy to stand up & be counted. Keep the videos coming - good job.
Mack Man DJI Phantom Flights Tks. I know of her, but the Council have approved these striking features rather than playing safe with off-the-shelf Victorian Style stuff. If they didn't like the design, it wouldn't have been built. Also, the other structures are municipal rather than privately built. Either way, it's good to have people with vision in a decision-making position.
I'll always support progress, as far to many ppl live in the past .. and we have to live for today not yesterday.. but do think our history is important..
Mack Man DJI Phantom Flights That's a pretty sensible approach to me. Part of what I do is Heritage & Landscape based, so I appreciate that too. Littlehampton isn't a splendid old seaside town like Hastings or even Worthing, so doesn't need to be a slave to its past seeing as pretty much all that's left is South Terrace...
Littlehampton is a great place to live. The East Beach Cafe and the Stage by the Sea are not too popular with some of the residents, but they add a certain something to the beach, which hopefully will bring the visitors in.
I agree Carole which is why I ask ppl to share and promote littlehampton as much as possible.. I actually like the East Beach Cafe as I think ppl come to littlehampton just to see that sometimes.
I will be doing another one soon as the works seem to be moving on quickly .. but here's Pier road earlier on.. is this what you meant.. PIER ROAD LITTLEHAMPTON
Mack Man DJI Phantom Flights That was spot on. Thanks. That's a nice piece of kit you've got there. Were you nervous when you first flew over the water?
