When I was a kid I lived a half block from the tracks my friends Dad worked on the railroad and he would pick us up on the way back to yard on the speedy .the good old days
Love the trip and the fact that the railroad is constantly expanding. Do you know if there are any plans to extend the line past where the current excursion turn around wye is currently?
CN Rail 140-48 built in Barre Canada in 1985 as a standard gauge speeder. Axles were replaced to narrow gauge the car, so don't believe it was ever on the Newfoundland railroad.
