In this project I decided to build what I'm familiar with, row homes. There are some hacks not to miss, the "Bilko" door outside that leads to the basements of two homes where washer/dryer are located. (Yes, they must go outside to get to the laundry area). The other is the gutter system. I added it to the front of the houses only because it was a bit tedious to continue all around, but I did extend the drainage to the curb as IRL. Using my imagination and sandbox MOVE & RESIZE tools makes for a great hack support in HF2... Like using bee boxes for outdoor beverage coolers and the "built-in" grill!!
These homes are not large and are mostly purchased by a first-time homeowner or a retired couple. The basement can be reno'd for additional living space, as you will see in the middle home. The first home is a new owner with 2 children, the middle home, however, is a young professional couple who loves to entertain and can do so with two incomes and several friends for weekend parties. The last one is a retired couple who tinker around the yard and love to cook. Do you think they all get along? LOL
