This one has been a long time coming! And what a time to have this be my first video of 2024!
Starting and ending in Sacramento, CA, we see me flying out of Sacramento, St. Louis, and landing into Atlanta! Unfortunately I didn’t get as many videos in Georgia as I had hoped but still regardless I got some great content! I added a slideshow at the end because I took more photos than videos in Georgia. Overall this trip was a success, but wait there’s more!
Starting in Gainesville, GA, I hoped on Amtrak 19 the Crescent and headed for New Orleans! Got to spend New Year’s Eve in New Orleans! What a treat that was! The next day, I had the absolute pleasure of hopping on Amtrak number 1, the Sunset Limited and headed from New Orleans all the way west to Los Angeles, CA! And finally after a 5 hour layover in Los Angeles, I hopped on Amtrak 14, the Coast Starlight and finally headed for home back to Sacramento!
There were trains seen from everywhere and so many different and cool trains! My favorite catches had to be the two NS heritage units I saw, two abandoned locomotives, and everything I saw from the trains I rode!
