I am not sure how many times I have listened to this lecture. People listen to music to get relaxation. To me, this is a great relaxation. Keeping the faith aside, these two great inviduals remind us to put humanity above everything else. I am born Hindu and I repsect the Sanathana Dharma and have been spending time to dig deeper and have been reading a lot on this topic. I admire Dr. West.. I have no words.. A great discussion and lessons for life.. namaste..
It is not about Hinduism or any other religion, or becoming to any religion.. It is about that what we forgot and what is the real purpose of our lifes by living in it.. It is LOVE.. Not w phisical love like touch or something more, but as a fact it is a part of Love anyway.. Thats why names as hinduism, islam, budhism and so on doesnt mean any thing to our lifes or to all of it what we just seen, because under everything is only one connector - Love/God. Teaching is telling that no matter your color, age, religion - hindu or jewish, and so on, it doesnt have any value, but why people are making accent on everything, because Love as God is everywhere.. Any religion, any human, animal or any living and not living being has god in it.. Hare Krishna, my friend :)
I am a Hindu as per religion... But after listening to all this if u have thought that for spiritual person the first step is to become Hindu then u got all wrong my brother/sister. Its never about converting. Hinduism and spiritualism is all about way of living.
It is deep compassion that springs from ones own perfection of Radhanath Swami, that makes him go above all the differences. He is always beyond the mundane, fleeting material differences and looks at the eternal, joyous oneness across all the living beings.
A wonderful experience. When you think of some of the influences which are tearing everything and everyone apart, these two people can be nothing but a power for good. Radhanatha Swami is gradually emerging as one of the great ambassadors of peace and spirituality.
Swami Radhanath was born in a jewish family. He was just another foreigner convinced about Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism). If there is no Church or American government's intervention, a dozen Hindu Swamis can convince (not forcibly convert) half the US population about Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) without spending a penny.
Sadly the labels "God", "Christianity", "Religion", "Hinduism", etc carry too much cultural baggage, but fortunately, I have never meet a Theist or Atheist that didn't believe in Love. As most religious scriptures teach "God is Love"
Hinduism means way of life tells us the purpose of life , about showing humanity...spreading love towards every life on the planet...irrespective of race, religion, caste or even animals .......so its not about converting at all... hare krishna !

When I listening Radhanath Swami teachings I feel that He is a Jesus who came second time ....!!!! That's why from Jewish family .And Jesus had same journey from going around countries !
people its good to have about ISKCON and all organizations, but I suggest, if you wanna get a real essence of what hinduism really is, just read the teachings and essays of swami vivekananda. I love him to deepest of my heart. He boldly says "you don't need to convert religions. That's a crime. You can be a christian and still be Hindu." Ramana Maharshi is also a gem to a real Hinduism. Try for them
According to Karma siddhanta one has to reap what one sows. Freewill leads to actions and words, they in turn make one’s own karma. This accrued karma must be resolved in order to reach the goal of mukti or moksha. If karma is not resolved then one’s Atman takes up another body (janma) and thus starts the new life cycle all over. Thus janma -> death -> janma cycle continues until moksha is attained. Hindu God Brahman has no form, no gender or attributes. The deities we see are prati rupams only, representations of the Brahman; they serve as conduits so that we can perform puja and sadhana (meditation).God is everywhere and everything is in It as per Advaita (non-dualism) philosophy. Whereas Dvaita (dualism ) philosophy says God is separate from the sristi (creation or cosmos). Hinduism has not discriminated people of other faiths; unlike some faiths which condemn others to eternal hell, Hinduism applies its karma siddhanta to all sentient beings without any exception. Hinduism says 'Sarvejano Sukhinobhavantu' (may all live happily). There is no original sin, no Satan and no permanent hell or heaven. Almighty will not create something he can not control. Supreme being will not remain punitive with the eternal hell fire punishment. Because almighty is very loving and compassionate
the truth is one. do you think jesus teachings are pointing to some other truth than the hindu teachings ? the truth is eternal life is love is our true nature. realizing this is called rebirth of spirit or entering the kingdom of the heavens or resurrection in the new testament and liberation in the hindu scriptures. peace be with you.
