Zombie butterflies... As if there wasn't enough to worry about. Those poles you saw look like a tent. Thanks for all the work putting up your videos, the Pripyat vids are a fascinating journey into a place few of us would ever be able to travel!
Its fascinating how all of this still seems somehow preserved after all these years. Here in Florida in the US, the sun wind and rain over a short span of time would destroy anything that is not solid. Most of those things would have fallen apart by 30 years time. Very interesting!
it looked like it was red, then when they walked up to it it turned brown? did that happen, or was it just that the outside of the wings were brown.. but it definitely closed it's wings. maybe its a chameleon butterfly.
CANDI STARR the wings folded up, yes. Their wings are red on the inside, brown on the outside. They're very delicate structures which weigh almost nothing. It's perfectly possible for an almost imperceptible gust of wind to have stirred it where both wings folded close.
Can you pls help me. If I would go to this village. Could I take these dolls with me to Estonia?(I am huge soviet toys, dolls lover :).) Or taking small things from the village is forbidden?
I like these vintage soviet toys and dolls. I plan to go there in future and save some of this stuff If O can. But I think that trip from Estonia to Ukraine is going to cost a lot.
