I feel like those who don't like this don't know of the Basketball Shorts album from before Hoobastank got big, back when they were called Hoobustank. If you fused this and the original version of Crawling in the Dark together, that's totally how it would sound if they'd wrote it in their super early days. Also, the original bassist for Incubus covering a Hoobastank song is a beautiful thing.
