One thing being glazed over is the fact that after Ohio and the Feds lit this toxic nightmare on fire all those particles came back down in rain and snow over most of New York State, New England and our neighbors to the north in Canada. @@ThePalmnut2 LOL Yeah ask the people in East Palestine how helpful they have been. Yes just like Unions there WAS a time when the agencies might have been needed. But like ALL government agencies they seek more and more control, more and more regulations. Like the EPA, wanting to control ANY water a person has on their property. We should not be depending on the Federal gov anyway , States should be taking care of their business. Let me give you another example. Big Corp GETS to sale contaminated food, they can have , rat feces, animal hair, maggots, insect parts etc. in their food or drink. Food they sale US, But I with a clean kitchen , with NO bug or rodent problem, sterilizing all my equipment and following government requirements for home canning, can't sale my products.

I'm surprised you were able to get close enough to film. A year ago they had the military stopping people from getting in to report on it.

There's been a recent report of dogs from the area roaming about with two tails, someone said his dog had three tails but I don't believe him.

you need to agitate the soil because the molecules you are looking for are not necessarily water soluble.

They will see the results when people downstream come down with cancer/ birth defects. Same thing has been happening in W. Virginia due to the coal mines for decades. You can't 'see' dioxin. But you can see oil from the explosion/burning. How about fighting back by starting a renewable energy plant, build solar panels, wind turbines, train people to build, install and maintain? Long term, good paying jobs will bring people in.

It depends on the proximity to the site. If your main concern is drinking water, you could have your own analysis made in a reputable lab and find neighbors who would pick up a share of the cost if you were to do it on a monthly or quarterly basis. Same can be done for the soil around your property once if you're not really close to the site. It only becomes really problematic when you have kids, because kids play everywhere outside and especially so near small creeks and you just cant keep them on a leash and its quite obvious that this creek is a longterm problem even if water quality normalizes, toxins seep into the creek bed and may get stirred up again for a number of reasons - if its a major river, this issue would not persist very long due to high flow of water. But if you prefer to just distrust without knowing, you gotta move elsewhere and hope that place hasn't been polluted previously. Undisclosed toxic contamination from a long time ago is a widespread issue in the US. Heck, people build their houses on top of 150 year old mines because nobody bothered to tell them and then get a surprise sinkhole in their living room - the devil-may-care attitude is a thing on the local government level too.

Do you know the channel Status Coup? They cover this extensively. They are also still covering the poisoned water crisis in Flint, Michigan 10 years on. It is still unresolved.
