Hi all! I've gotten so much positive feedback on my living room book shelf switching layout, so I thought it was high time I share another operating session! Follow along as the East Penn crew switches Univar Foods!
And this is another example why I am now a converted and big believer in smaller layouts. Plenty enjoyment in operating over a few minutes without a session dragging on. The satisfaction of building it too is great because it tends to come together quicker with visible results. Thanks for sharing Alex!
Great to see you operating your East Penn layout. Your conductor was falling asleep on the job, but you got her trained early. Your layout is a great example for those that say they have no space for a layout. Like you said, it is perfect for a short relaxed ops session at the end of the day or when you have a few extra minutes. Thanks for highlighting your East Penn layout.-Tom
Thank you for giving us this time with you and your sleepy conductor on your beautiful layout. This was very inspiring and well done!! Much thanks and love from Houston BNSF country 😀 #Chessie lives!!!
Wow. Cool bro, I like how clean and crisp it looks. Very professional...which is very refreshing in my opinion. Thank you for all your time and effort, it really paid off!!
No matter what size the layout, ( I have one that fills a garage and also working on a shelf layout.) it is the personal enjoyment and fulfillment that is gained from doing what aspect of model railroading that is the focus of the day. Even though model railroaders span an enormous variety of personal favorite aspects, we are all always united in our love of the hobby. ....On a lighter note, I see you have the mandatory drink holder. Cheers from Australia. ( In a deep and meaningful frame of mind tonight )
Neat little layout. I live about 8 miles from the East Penn and can send you pics if you need. I'm surprised to see that engine on someone's layout! Keep posting, this is inspirational.
This has always captured my attention living close to YorkRail..East Penn..and Pioneer Lines... layout height and choice of mfgr. For track and turnouts? This was your first built layout also? Thanks for sharing Alex
