This was our second day in Sikkim and we decided to explore East Sikkim - Nathula Pass, Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
This is typically one day tour from Gangtok and you can expect to return by 5pm. We hired a sharing cab and paid INR 1000 per person. If you like to hire a private cab, it will cost you around INR 5000 to INR 6000.
For permits, you need 5-6 passport photographs, Copy of ID proof(except adhaar card), passport is safest choice and sikkim travel card which you can apply online yourself.

I also went there in Dec 21 end. This place was fully covered with snow. Even we got snowfall in Sikkim and darjeeling

As such, there’s no name for this fall. You’ll find it near Baba Mandir.. and it’s easily visible as many tourists will be heading there

Us time snowfall hoga bahut, toh yumthang, zero point, kala pathhar etc ghumna mushkil hoga. Last week of dec tak jana is ok or after April when snow starts melting

Ye aapko local taxi operators se check karna padega. Due to changing weather conditions roads kabhi bhi band kar sakte hain.

it should be but north sikkim can get really cold with black ice, cab is a safer option.

If you are taking a shared cab then 1000-1200 per person. But it you take your own car or private taxi, then the permit is 2.5k-3k, as mentioned by the our driver. Cabs may charge another 3k for 1day booking. Shared cab is the best option.

Hi ma'am.. actually I have a plan for Nathula pass from Gangtok MG Marg on 2nd week of April 22. how can I get permit on share taxi. What is the cost of full trip on share taxi. Please reply
