I'm from east side and I grew up eating nasi lemak at Changi village. It was really good. After I got married, my husband introduced me to Boon Lay Power Nasi lemak. My first impression was positive because I ate there and it was delicious while it's hot. However, when I start to bungkus, it's not as nice. After I got my house at Boon lay, I became sian of it. It wasn't as good as I thought it was. I feel like nasi lemak is a personal thing because I crave for different types on different days. For example, there are days when I really prefer the one near to my parents house which is at Tampines Istanbul restaurant. Other days when I feel sian, I prefer the "atas" version from 'Crave' outlet. The nasi lemak royale. It really depends on your tastebuds and time/mood of the day. I personally think both east and west are not bad, same goes to other parts of Singapore. Just different people have different opinions and tastebuds. 🤷🏻♀️✌🏼
I stay at west but prefer east Power Nasi Lemak very filling because rice & sambal Mizzy corner is like adam road but got some different I prefer mizzy coz healthier and appetizing Power Nasi Lemak samal is powerful and strong
Love power nasi lemak...... however sometimes the fried chicken is crispy sometimes not so crispy ... depends whether u get freshly fried chicken or not
I'm from the East, and vow for the West side when it comes to Nasi Lemak. Extra tastier when eaten at 4am in the morning before crossing the custom. Lets just forget about South one...
I feel a bit pointless for 2 bias people to vote for their favourite one, u guys should let more ppl to try and ask them to vote. Den the answer will be clearer.
Omg those pigeons. They are a nightmare. I went to eat in Lau Pa Sat and bought bbq chicken rice and left it to buy drinks, when I went back, there was a pigeon pecking on my food. 😭
I would say each have their strength and taste is more of individual preference. I am a westie and have tried both but personally prefer Changi more due to the rice which goes well with the Ikan and chilli. Together with that, the chicken wing is more crispy in comparison to Boon Lay. The standard for Boon Lay has dropped pretty much over the years
The chicken from the East looks good. But I prefer the rice from the West. Basmati rice tends to be on the drier side, and I think it would be best for saucy dishes (like curry).
I used to eat at both nasi lemak in the 80s to 90s it was the best of the best....👍 But now both nasi lemak standard hv drop... It's not like it used to be...
1. everyone knows International is better. ppl go mizzy beacause save time on queing.. i tried like 3 stall at changi with all my friend all 5 of us agree w international being the best. by a margin. 2. Boon lay bro.. hands down. 3. Top 3 nasi lemak. - Boon lay -Pak Mando(yishun) -Salera Rasa Nasi lemak (adam road) 4. See how changi is not even in the list. 5.best food for SG east (not for nasi lemak)
If this 2 stalls are selling the best nasi lemak in east and west . Man thats just so sad . Non-famous nasi lemak stalls have better quality nasi lemak and quantity .
People who leave their food unguarded for birds and houseflies to swoop in to eat are not very smart. If you need a drink, get them later. If you find the food you buy too dry that you need drinks, then the food is not worth it. It has to be literally mouth watering
I had Mizzy Nasi Lemak last weekend. Their fried chicken is tasteless, and not crispy. The rice i give it to them, chili is not the best I've tasted. The best Nasi Lemak is chong pang
