The dude's true colors came out. Kenny made him real honest real quick. He acted like loyalty was number one and then he cussed everyone out when he was exposed to be full of bull
She looks terrified when he opened his mouth. She’s cheering but has common sense to know she seen him mess up too many times however, it was a funny show that made adults who should have been the only ones watching that laugh at the time. Thanks for the comedy y’all! People need to laugh!
@@jondufrene5873Destro was a villain from the GI Joe cartoon. He wore a silver mask with a bald head. Just like the milk did with stinky breath sitting next to Kenny
Same, I had extreme anxiety about going to the dentist. But had this scene playing on the monitor as I got my tooth fixed. Cracking up during the entire thing lol
Welcome to America. It's full of racist and political Americans thanks to our government. Ever since this BLM shit came out (which wasn't even real it was just a trend to get some fast cash),people have gotten so sensitive and brainwashed into thinking that when someone makes a joke about black people it's "racist". But when it's the other way around (black person making a joke about white people) nobody gives a shit. It's a battle we'll never win.
LMFAO might be time for me too rewatch this again, its been a few years. mind you itd prob be for the 10th time too lol greatest show on earth, even better than early sunny, which i hold a close second
Unfortunately, Kenny Powers would not sit well in todays over sensitive politically correct society. It came out at a time when things could still be edgy and over the top. A lot of stand up comics that still try with this type of humor get absolutely scrutinized if they dare utter any of these lines. I say some of it is good shock humor, like did he really just say that? Making it funny and clever.
It worked because it was satire of an actual baseball personality. John Rocker is the main inspiration for the Kenny Powers character. He was pretty opinionated, could be obnoxious and offensive, and held some pretty non-PC views. They took the influence of Rocker and ramped it up to 120% for comedic effect. It worked pretty well, but they were able to safely rest it upon the fact that it was inspired by a real world personality.
@@3-PHASEDELTA I heard in a interview that the character was based on a person that went to Community College with Danny McBride. A ex pro baseball player that kept on talking about himself. There is a scene in the first season where he goes back to CC. That is written on that encounter.
