This episode was so heartbreaking😪💔. Angela Wynter is an amazing actress! I was kind of annoyed with Denise for not realising there was something wrong with Yolande😤😢.
Yes she really is a brilliant actress😌❤️, Denise and the rest of them not clocking on that she was clearly upset annoyed me as well, The others don’t know her as well as Denise does she should’ve realised🥺.
I mean there's this guy and there's Dean two isn't actually that many when you take into account how often it happens in real life plus Dean looks to be on his way out. there's still plenty of other pretty bad criminals tho pretty much most of the cast.
@@stevendavies4210 I mean is it tho? yeah it happens a lot but since its always made a big deal over unlike other crimes I feel this is just a case of it being fresh in your memory thus making you think it's happened more than it actually has.
@@spencerreid2086 And then you have the likes of Katy Lewis (Paedophile) Theo Hawthorne (Stalker) Lewis Butler (Rapist) Gray Atkins (Domestic Abuser) Nish Panasar (Domestic Abuser) Archie Mitchell (Paedophile/Rapist) Harry Slater (Paedophile) Tony King (Paedophile) Matt Clarkson&Ross Swinden (Rapists) Graham Foster (Rapist) Ranveer Gulati (Pervert/Attempted Rape) Trevor Morgan (Domestic Abuser) Owen Turner (Domestic Abuser) Fraser Shelton (Rapist) James Willmott-Brown (Rapist) Richard Vance E20 (Rapist) Paul Skeggs (Pervert/Attempted Rapist) A lot of BAD apples on the Square unfortunately
it'd be more original and interesting if for once they did go to the police straight away when the evidence was still fresh and could be documented and the show could still show how difficult it is to get a conviction even if you did everything correct right from the bat.
I'd love them to have the balls for a victim to tell someone that's the local gangster or someone crazy enough to go straight round there & put that pastor down for good. Can you imagine Ravi going there as the pastor is on his own cleaning up, walks in & stands just inside the door, the pastor sees him, Ravi looks at him for a few seconds with a blank expression, the pastor looks confessed & says "can I help you", Ravi slowly turns around, closes the blinds, pushes the lock key on the door, takes a leather pair of gloves out of his pocket, we watch him put them on, then he turns back around to look at the pastor again & the pastors expression has turned to concern then the doof doof begins. Now that's a way to do these storylines. The predator becomes the prey. 😆
Absolutely. Sadly the bulk of the fans would be happier watching pretty colours flash before their eyes than actually engaged with some mature sustained storytelling that requires concentration and an ability to analyse and understand character motivations.
Little Mo, Stacey, Ruby, Linda and now Yolande have all been raped. It’s such a shocking and terrifying topic to tell in a soap and the horrible thing is the guy who does it think they haven’t done anything or make it the women’s fault.
I think its so bad all women out there should never feel alone or thinking no one is not going to believe them.these men should not get away from what they have done.
I just knew Pasta Clayton was a creep since he hugged Yolande. Just like typical EE fashion I bet this storyline will drag on for months. I must admit this storyline will be gruesome especially for Yolande. I hope Patrick and Pasta Clayton have a feud when Patrick finds out Yolande has been Sexually assaulted.
@spaceforce-girlforcejjwest2048 i wonder what Patrick will have on his pasta as soon as he gets hold of pasta Clayton. "Bit a chilli, bit of Claytons essence, bit of Jamaican kick a$$ essence, last of all... cheese.
Most women you know have been or will be assaulted at some time in their life. It seems unrealistic to you because you don't have to live with that hanging over your head daily.
I'm sorry but the writers of this show need to stop putting all of the women of color characters back in the plantation days. Not a single one of them seems to deal with abusive men the way a real woman of color would this day and age. The give them the loud strong aggressive blk woman stereotype all throughout the show up until it comes to when it's appropriate and necessary and realistic. We've seen enough of the sweep it under the rug to know how it goes. Let's step into 2024 where women are saying me too and oh no the hell you won't from the jump!
What nonsense. How do 'women of colour' typically deal with being SA'ed? I guess we're all bold and intimidating - incapable of vulnerability and fear? People with mindsets like you are dangerous. Just because many bw tend to present as assertive and resilient, it doesn't mean that they can't experience what it means to feel scared and alone when something traumatic happens.
In Emmerdale they did sexual assault but showed the process of her reporting it and then getting everdonce and going court which u think good way show it
I swear the producers need to stop recycling and redoing the same old crappy and boring storylines, I mean its like they can't think of anything better or something!!
Yolande was warned that she was getting too cosy around the Pastor. But she continued to be around him anyway. She even said that Patrick was in the dog house for making such an accusation about her and the Pastor getting too close. Now she can't breathe properly, the signs were already there before she said Pastor".
He still had no right to put his hands on her. So called man of God is so post to help people not take advantage of them he uses his position and Christian religion for his own deeds and power because he is twisted.
Poor yolande she needs to go straight to the police yeah it's going to be hard for her as it would be hard for anyone but it's harder for men to admit that happened to them and those poor other women especially Sarah and Emma
phil and grant wouldn't do anything phil had his own sons rapist in his sights and he let him go with a few bruises the guy went on to do it again. plus he flat out refused to even try and get rid of Archie and Ruby's Rapists the guy flat out supports them and works to keep them on the streets lol.
Imagine the outcry from Muslims if there was a dodgy Imam on the show? Seems only fair as we have seen an murdering preacher and now a touchy feely pastor
Ahh yes balance. The watch word of the salivating right wing. You might not have had the dodgy Imam you crave, but EE has given us Nish, Lucas, the lad who assaulted Tiffany and Yusef so if you're fiending for black/asian abusive villains (for some reason, I can't possibly think why 🤔) then EE has provided you with quite a few
Do not watch this as a rule but have seen some of tonight's, and I have to say the acting is terrible, especially in the laundrette. The show is basically rubbish now!
Yolande put herself in this situation, following the Pastor, jealous of his wife, being submissive. Women have to take responsibility for getting into a situation like this. She was stupid.
What do you mean ? Its obvious that what happened dude full on locked the door behind him went right up close to her and then after she was on the floor ?? Never mind what happened in the rest of the episode with the other victims.
As sad as this storyline is, it’s somewhat far fetched only intended to shock- we’ve seen it with lawyers and now those who represent trust and forgiveness. Do it with an imam- see how far you get!
So your issue is that it offends your faith? If your cult would take issues like this seriously it wouldn't have to be kept being brought up. *Make a meaningful change or accept the criticism and anger that you so rightly deserve.*
You do know ANYONE of any AGE can be r@ped. It’s not all pretty young perky blonde girls in their early 20’s. Young or old. Man or woman, anyone can unfortunately suffer this horrendous crime
Ugh here we go again. Another rape storyline that's going to take forever to be discovered, another marriage down the drain and another family wrecked!! Have you run out of ideas @eastenders 🥱
As it turned out, it was discovered quite quickly. Viewers like this ⬆️ are what keep standards low. No patience. No subtlety. No ability to appreciate character motivation. They just want to graze their popcorn and be fed repetitive, consequence free, glorified slapstick gruel from their soaps.
