Tbh yeah it would’ve had a bit of weight, but it doesn’t matter how heavy the thing is. (As long as it’s not soft and it’s dense) The person who hits the other person has the power to make them die or not. Weather it was heavy or not, it hit lucy on her temple, and if you are hit hard enough you can die instantly. So that’s how she died bc he hit her right on the temple with the corner of the box, and left her for dead without even calling anyone until jane got home .

If you are fighting and you punch someone and that punch kills them, that is manslaughter. Lucy pissed Bobby off and he hit her around the head to cause GBH. His intentions was not to kill her so it's manslaughter. He didn't even know he killed her

In actual reality, if this did happen and the child is say 13, the murder of his sister would have occurred when the child was 5 years old and I don’t think he would have been charged due to the age of legal responsibility is I believe 12. Good storyline though
