In The African American Community there were Two Gospel Singers who were Gay, Andre Crouch (RIP), and Smokie Norful. Luther Vandross started in a Gospel Choir and co collaborated with David Bowie (RiP) on Fame when he was a backing vocalist.
On The Young & The Restless in the 1990's Victoria Newman (then played by Heather Tom) asked questions to Nina Webster Kimble Chancellor played by Tricia Cast about Ryan McNeil. They were secretly married and Nina thought she would be the one to marry him.
The larger of the two heavies (Ben irl) used to look after me/take me to the park to throw a ball around when I was young (5ish) Such a lovely bloke and it’s so weird seeing him in this role lol x all the best to you if you’re reading this
This man can give Victor Newman a run for his Money. Remember in 1999 when Jack Abbot got his Father's Company back for him and Victor screamed "I Will Crush You!" It was considered to be not only one of the best scenes in Y & R History but of all time.
how the hell did christian manage to deck phil while losing to loads of weaker characters, i know here he was outnumbered but still you'd never hear phil begging like that
I know it was 3 onto one but these guys looked quite tough especially the one with short hair plus they were probably henchmen who get paid to beat up people.
It's not like he beat the shit out of Phil. He punched Phil once, Phil was absolutely fine and chose not to respond. I wouldn't call that decking someone
The actor who plays Qadim, Ramon Tikaram, played a bisexual man called Ferdy in the late 90s series This Life. His sister, Tanita Tikaram, was popular in the late 80s as a singer. I was surprised to see him play a role like this.
That’s probably why he was trying to cheek-glove Christian here in this role. Cause he played a bisexual before 😂 That being said, Christian would never hold up good in prison; he’d be lucky to be shifted to alternate lifestyle
How can Qadim give Amira Chelsea's love if he doesn't know her name??!! Just say "Oh, some woman I don't know sent you her love." ?? Wouldn't that sound a bit creepy to Amira?
Probably but given Amira knows what her old man's like she made the intelligent decision not to question him bcoz I don't fancy her chances of coming out of it in one piece.
I often wonder if Qadim was looking for syed because he was gonna attack him the same way that he did Christian? Or if he would’ve done something worse, such as killed him, being as that’s the sort of thing that they tend to do in their culture.
Christian should of saw it coming he knew what he was getting himself into and look at him now...😣crying for mercy but I can't blame him tho because it's not easy when your deeply in love😂
@@reinersfattits Homophobia is hating or having a problem with homosexuals, Masood didn't have a problem with Christian until he started dating his son. He's not homophobic.
@@H.K.5 ‘didn’t want his done to marry a gay person’ that’s having a problem with homosexuals like you literally just said... he doesn’t want his son to marry a man because that would make his son gay, so he has a problem with gay people, therefore meaning he is homophobic. It’s not rocket science.
The current Chelsea is nowhere near as good looking as this one in this clip. And Chelsea in general always seems to be the dodgy one out of Denise's girls.
Imagine if they did this to syed instead he be way more scared than Christian. I also notice they made Christian and syed fight against more people before they left lol syed against Danny and Derek and Christian against danny and Phil.
Eventhough I'm against homosexuales getting beaten up I do understand why the father would protect his daughter and would want revenge for her getting heartbroken
@@ajaykazamiBirmingham was also Home to Duran Duran and Musical Youth. On The Council House Show a Family of 7 from Romania got a House in Birmingham but I wonder how they fared.
@Zara Maria Dixon I don't blame Amira's dad for being angry with Christian for what he did to his daughter but Christian did not deserve to be hated for being gay
@Zara Maria Dixon Yeah, in a way I guess it was his fault since he could have spared himself a beating if he had just cooperated and told Quadim and his men where Syed was.
@@PsionicDiamond Yeah, he hated Christian for having an affair with and stealing Amira's husband but he did seem to express a certain amount of disgust towards Christian's homosexuality especially when he said "I think he'd tell his homosexual lover" which says if he didn't hate him for being gay, then he most certainly disliked him for it.
Oh get up you big girl's blouse! Was is he like 6' 2'' 190 lbs at least? Pathetic. Imagine if they came back and said "Well actually, we've got alot more".
@@meenajutla The average man is 5' 9" and something like 160 lbs, so being 6' 2" 190 lbs should be enough to sort of take care of yourself a bit, not being funny.
Completely agree! The fact that he just left a man on the floor bleeding to death over an affair with his son just because of their views on the whole thing is just not on, wish Jane would've slapped him for it tbh
Masood coldly walking away from Christian as he lays on the ground, beaten, bleeding and emotionally broken are exactly why some religious people are the biggest, hypocritical pieces of scum ever. They think their personal belief justifies actions like this, leaving another human being suffering like that. When every single religion’s central tenants revolve around peace, love, forgiveness, helping those less fortunate and that it is there Gods place to judge, not theirs. It’s pathetic.
@@SolarCraig A soap depicting a scene that is an all to familiar reality for many LGBTQI people. It's alright for you to say, calm down it's only a soap. But this happens in real life. That is what I'm angry about, as I clearly stated.
@@PBL187 I understand that. But the point I am making is that the reason Masood and his family were so against Syed being gay was because of religion. However he is happy to disregard his religions basic tenants when it suits him, as he did here by walking away from someone in need. Christian could have had internal injuries for all Masood knows. Hence Masood is a hypocrite.
