I know Paul Bradley quit the role because he feared being typecast. However I loved him playing Nigel because he was/still the son that Dot wish she had!

When did Barry had a personality transplant into bumbling loveable clown of the square like Nigel what year exactly. Was it 1997 or 1998 or 1999 and when they made Barry a major character.
@@kimdavison8083 Yeah true I liked Dennis and Dot friendship. I wish Nigel should of stayed in EastEnders longer. But is it true that Barry replaced Nigel as another loveable clown of the square. I remember Barry's early years he was a completely different character there.

Remember Nigel's early years when he first came as a harder confident dodgy dealer and a sleazy womanizer who had done dodgy business with Grant and they wanted to buy the car off Frank and I think Grant really to buy the motor off Frank. Back in 1992 but Nigel's personality transplant happened I think later in the year if I'm correct.
Everyone smoked everywhere then. No wonder kids those days turned out to be smokers. We were all passive smokers when we were 5 years old!! The NHS is seeing the effect of it now though. I bet there's more smoking related deaths in the people who were brought up in the 60s/70s then any other decades.

yeah Dot & Pete (he was fired,she quit in protest) started their own production company , but it wasn't very successful and they told her she could come back....she did, as we know

It be great if he would come back to pay his respects to dot Browning. Even her gost will return . And the old cast members will pay there repcect s and new . I didn't know dot Browning was called miss c in those days. I didn't know she always smoked . I hope everyone comes back to pay there repcects .
