@@gh0510 not so easy when they were married. Sharon knew Grant would be horrible to her if she dumped him. Especially as he was entitled to half of everything and probably just would have bullied her out of the pub.
@@startracker5895 Nah you break up with the person first despite the consequences that may follow. Just because your relationship isn't going well, doesn't ever give you the right to jump into bed with somebody else. You want to sleep with someone else, let your partner know that you don't want to be with them anymore. This will then save everybody from any future heartache.
11:50 Grant hits Sharon! How dare he hit a woman! I wonder what Den would've have done if her ever found out what Grant was doing to his beloved daughter AKA princess Sharon. If only Den hadn't firebombed that dagmar bar, being involved in the firm & being sent to jail! If only Den hadn't faked his death & went on the run, then Sharon's life would have been a whole lot different if only Den had stuck around. Maybe Den would've have stopped Sharon from marrying Grant, if he knew what kind of bloke he was! Where was Den when Sharon needed him?!
Grant would have destroyed den in a fight with ease but den would of beat him in a psychological war, considering how he stitched up Phil who was definitely smarter than Grant
@@bensmithkent22 Yeah but physiologically which is the most important thing here, Den would win. Den even managed to beat Phil which takes some doing and like said above, Phil is smarter than Grant.
It was only a matter of time. Sharon saw how violent he was before she married him. Did she really think that wouldn't eventually extend to her? "You must think I'm some kind of joke!" Er, well he is. You can always tell when Grant's entering the room - the sound of scraping as his knuckles drag along the floor.
It’s the same thought process as most girls who like a bad boy, they always seem to think they are immune to how he treats everyone else and then act shocked when they aren’t
Until Dennis, grant was the love of Sharon's life although she and Phil had something. But Grant was too violent. The 90s were pretty cool. Never liked Michelle but Sharon did and Clyde. The show changed after they left but the Slaters improved it then the den and Dennis storylines. Sharon wasn't the same after Dennis. He really loved her and he never was violent to her. It was interesting when Dennis got jealous of Grant when he thought she chose his side with the Chrissie and Den thing but he told Dennis it was him she loved. Grant and Sharon were friends by then. That guy did sound like Billy but he didn't look like him.
Its strange that the first time we saw the Mitchells in EE Phil was such a nice guy who always thought first n only decked ppl when necessary but Grant always thumped first n thought later. Hittin a lady , not cool Grant not cool !
did phil change because of losing Kathy and ben or was it because grant left and the producers wanted to have him play both brothers to make up for his absence?
@@lefez9015nah boxer or not grant could box a bit too and would grab him and fight like a savage grants headbutt was naughty the few times i saw him land it. Clyde was a welterweight grant was a monster in comparison be close though. He did bigger people than clyde many times.
I undesrtand somehow why Sharon didnt want to stay with Grant anymore,he was harsh . But it wasnt a reason from Phil to take his brother's wife. I thought Ross Kemp was taller than his height. Around 6'2
Sharon invited them all to put off the posh man from buying the place, even though from what I gather, she was leading Grant on, acting like she wanted to sell the place, too.
I agree dimarcos were the worst family on history of the whole soap they were so boring and karena was the worst and they were just so ennoying i love branning and taylor and tiffany and bex and louise
9:30 Terrible of Sharon to use all those rowdy drunks like that. I don't like those kinds of people, but doing that kind of thing could've had terrible repercussions on the bars reputation.
