Max & Jack would’ve been very young here, early 20s at least. 10 years before Max’s arrival in 2006 and 11 years before Jack’s in 2007. Max would’ve made his own life by now, left home by now, he would’ve married Tanya and had Lauren at this point. Not too sure about Jack though.

They didn't exist. Max and Jack were written into the show later and the Brannings' backstory was changed to accommodate them.

@charlottebryant2088 , no, they didn't and yes, it did. Carol originally had two sisters (April and Suzy) and one brother (Derek). Jim later said he had five children, although the fifth was never mentioned by name. Max arrived much later but was never before mentioned by the Brannings and then Jack was created, making it six. Max and Jack were retconned into existence.

The whole thing was pre planned, it would have to be for a Church Wedding as the Bans have to be proclaimed 3 times.

There was a time (Jake Wood) came there in the early 90s but not as Max

4 of max and jacks siblings were seen in the 90s. Max and Jack appeared in the 2000s and Suzy returned but was recast

Max didn’t see Jim for 17 years. This was 10 years before he arrived.

Max and Jack didn't even exist in 1996. Jim's only son was Derek. The characters of Max and Jack were created in the 2000s and 1996 was retconned.

They didn't exist. They just pretended Max and Jack didn't want anything to do with the family back then. Which isn't that hard to believe due to Derek and Jim's behaviour

Back here he was, but at least he changed unlike Derek.
