How much low self esteem must you have to bed a man who abandoned you when you were 14 and pregnant, abandoned all of his kids, had a two year affair with his brothers wife and then abandoned her?
Cindy deserved to be abandoned when she became a full-blown psycho, and tried to have Ian killed. She could've dragged David into prison with her, doing messed up stuff like that. I'd be mad at a woman for that even if she looked like pamela anderson/trish stratus, etc.

I always find it funny with left wing shows like Eastenders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale how whenever bonfire night arrives, they always try to portray fireworks in a positive light, attempting to make them seem "fun and magical" in order to help fund the big left wing firework corporations. I think it'd be more realistic if every now and then, indoor scenes were interrupted with a banger from outside, loud enough to rattle the windows. Considering soap operas tend to avoid reality like the plague though, I don't see this happening.
