Non London characters rarely work out on EE. But Ravi the brummie and eve from up north seem to be the exception . Both really likeable and interesting.
Kheerat is soooo cooler throughout the whole Panesar storyline.. the only one to sort out the truth by investigating.. I love the way he hoodwink Davinder for information..
Yeah but I don't think it's really a necessity because it wasn't really used until the last Guru (Guru Gobind Singh) : before that they used to keep it long but not necessarily covered. I think it's because the Hindu Rishis (Priests) used to have long hair and they were of the higher castes so the Sikh reasoning is that any man can be like a higher caste
@@ramanb9397 it wasn't until the Khalsa (established by Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Guru) that turbans were worn widely. Its more for convenience that they wear the turban because of their long hair. Lots of paintings of Guru Nanak show him wearing a hat/cap. Even Ravidass (who some say was the first Guru before Nanak) is shown without a turban.
@@ronki23 again you're talking utter jibberish about convenience. Nothing in Sikhism is about mere convenience. The turban is an article of faith and unique identity that represents equality, honour, courage, spirituality and a whole lot more.

I don’t think people understand how big a deal Kheerst’s turban being pulled off (intentional or not) is. Sikh men who choose to cover their hair do so for sacred reasons, so the turban being pulled off is humiliating.
@@heidos7 that's no excuse, I work with a hard hat on 9-10 hours a day with dust and dry air burners, and my hair is silky and shiny from lots of care and attention. Plus I condition it regularly. His hair looks in an awful state. Great actor though.
