Pat and David's relationship had the strangest dynamic. How could she make out is was his fault that she couldn't keep her legs shut for Frank? She was a great character on the square but she was clearly a bad mother to David...and he had no trouble reminding her of it.

Am looking forward to 1997 and seeing Barry get conned and lose Roy's businesses. I can't remember what happened to the car lot in the period inbetween- who ran it or was it just Barry's cab company in there?
