Thank you for the nice comments it was sad saying goodbye to Peterken but I'm glad he arrived safely as he nearly got stuck in customs, luckily Nati came to the rescue. I hope to see them all in August and find out how he is getting on . Sorry Nati about the chillies , as I was packing it up I was thinking ' Someone doesn't like chillies I think ,I hope it isn't Nati !'
Oh my goodness! Your gifts are so amazing and thoughtful Wendy! 👏👏👏 Wow! I should have waited to comment!! Wendy, your little mouse set was outstanding 👏👏👏!!! What an amazing talent you have!
Oh yes, like the wonderful book by Richard Scarry titled " Cars and Trucks and things that go!" where you look for goldbug in the picture! I taught my grandson to name all the equipment, ie...back hoe, ambulance, heavy equipment, buses, cars, etc looking for goldbug. It was so much fun to read to him and to engage his beautiful mind! 🥀🥀
Stephanie and Phillip you are still darling children at heart. I love the mouse with tiny accessories too. So nice you are home again. Andy's watercolours are charming. She is a lovely woman.
Dear Stephanie. It does my heart so much good to see you so happy and energetic. I wish for you all the best that life has to offer and all the blessings of God that’s He alone can bestow. Happy Easter. May a new life and a new dawn be yours. Love, from John in New Jersey.
If you scanned the magazine covers and adverts then printed them out, theyd look lovely on the wall when the costume closet portion of the attic is finished
Mattie is breathtaking and stunning this very.day. She is the elegant version of what all women hope to.be. The green jacket with her hair refreshed my heart for happy times in 2021. Thank you.
I think that in the Peterkin - letter Wendy is referring to an old song about ‘een muis in de molen in oud Amsterdam’. I think it was sung by Rudi Carell in the sixties. (A mouse in the mill in old Amsterdam)
What is more adorable than a mouse with wooden clogs and a laptop! She is a very talented lady as is Andy! Andy’s artwork is fabulous and I particularly like the one of the chateau. And as usual, ALL of the gifts were splendid and the best part of all, they are given with so much love! ♥️
Phillip really suits the Chateau and it's era. He looks like he is from a time gone by. Beautiful skin too. Loved all the lovely gifts- your fans are SO very talented. You are all absolutely wonderful! Thanks for the pure Joy of allowing us to step into your world! xx
The best way to eat them is to toast them over the low coals of a fire, the sugar on the outside caramelizes and the inside gets soft, it is so good that way!
I just received my March/April issue of "'My French Country Home,'' which is a luxury magazine published in France but available by mail or in bigger magazine shops. The editor is an American woman married to a Frenchman and is full of beautiful chateaux, villages, décor, food, and travel articles. There is very little advertising, with plenty of room for bios, interiors, books, and stylish treasures. This time the Périgord region was featured and several places Stephanie has recently had in her vlogs are reviewed: Sarlat, Les Jardins de Marqueyssac, and there is even one of the chateaux from ''Escape to the Chateau DIY.'' They have a website--any Francophile will love it--a feast for the senses.
This episode is a perfect example of why I love Chateau Diaries gift opening so much. It’s not only filled with kind, creative, humorous and loving individuals, whether residents or guests, but the gift givers and their presents are amazing! As a mouse lover, Peterkin and his little treasure filled traveling case just did me in and lucky Philip gets to carry him in his pocket. How sweet is that?
mice love chocolate and will chew through heavy foil to get it. I returned from holliday to find a collection of cholocate that I had as a gift ft my sisters birthday shredded into confetti. The funniest thing was that A couple of days after the removal, the mouse went into chocolate withdrawal and went crazy ..dashing all over my apartment in a frenzy. Take care and lock up.
Omg I can’t get over the mouse and rabbit.......how talented is she and this was her first attempt.......so nice to see Andi again and what a talented women her paintings are fabulous ..........that was really a fun vlog....good to see you feeling better Stephanie..........take care Donna in Toronto
I want to come play with Peterkin too! I love all things miniature and/or adorable. I love how he arrives with his story and all his little possessions. Happy Easter to you all! You all give us so much joy! 🌷🐀🐇🐥🦋
The birds on the front of the box from Maine were Puffins not Penguins Stephanie. Thanks for another lovely episode of Cadeau! I found the boy band Philip was in! They were called Zuuderleefde. They even have a Facebook page. Ha ha🐁
OMG! This Chateau Unwrapped was one of the funniest yet. Philip and his Dutch mouse were making me laugh so hard that I was crying! So sweet, so innocent, so lovely. Thank you!
Hello lovely lalanders ! As Always...so great ! Peter the mouse is priceless 😘! All the gifts are thoughtful ! Thank You for sharing ! Take care and bisous from Alsace ! 😘❤️💝🎊🎉💐🌹🍀❤️😍😍😍
The best way to eat a peep (they come in bunny shapes also and many flavors) is to toast them over the low coals of a fire, the sugar on the outside caramelizes and the inside gets soft, it is so good that way!
I’m so excited right now. I currently live in Texas, but I’m from Maine! When I saw the box of Saltwater Taffy It took me home again. When I was younger we would eat warm Taffy, cut right off the Taffy pulling machine in Martha’s Vineyard Massachusetts. You just made my day! XO
Sounds as if the Lalande mice have enjoyed the package I sent. I sent it for the humans of Lalande to enjoy but I can almost hear the mice giggling as they celebrated Easter alittle ahead of time. 🐁🐭
Oh goodness, Peterkins is just gorgeous! Some wonderful Easter gifts to enjoy! I hope you all have a great Bridgestone Easter and look forward to seeing the vlog!
One of the things I love most about Cadeau day is seeing all the delightful and marvellous items that your viewers create and send. Wendy us amazing as us Andie 😘
Love love love Philip! he is such a delight and I wish him to stay at La Lande forever! Blessings to all the wonderful people who send the gifts, it is such a joy to see Stephanie light up from the beautiful generosity ✨♥️
So happy the goodies we sent arrived there safely! Aren't the tea sticks genious? Love them! The chocolate square is a Maine Needham. VERY popular here in Maine. It is made with mashed potato and coconut... odd I know but delicious.
The bag of funyums are potato-based crunches with some onion flavor to mimic the actual/real onion rings. If you ever get the chance to have them, real onion rings are delish! Am sure Marie could make them.👌
For the yellow peeps you can make nests from chow mien noodles held together by melted butterscotch chips and with candy chocolate covered peanut as eggs. Blessed
My mistake!! It was Andy's beautiful art!!! So beautiful!!! And the hedgehog is soo Philip...😁 Love needle felt animals as well!!! So cute and well done!!!!

Oh that table runner is so nice . I'm fully decorated here for easter and I would love that . Lucky ducks again this opening . Glad your getting back to yourself Stephanie 🎉🐇🥕🐣 the felt rabbit and mouse are adorable .
Thanks. Lots of joy in watching this. The blue and white runner with bunnies would look lovely on the warm honey-coloured wood of the kitchen table over the Easter weekend (between meals?)
Stephanie, viewers must think highly of you and yr gang to send such thoughtful gifts. I'm always so impressed with the crafts and the originality of them all. Glad to see you looking better. Happy Easter 🐣 💓 💛
