Easter Island Moai Art Project 

Supplies needed:
White paper
Colored construction paper for a background
Sharpie
Grey crayon
marker, metallic if you have it
glue and scissors
Come learn about the Moai stone statues on Easter Island (chain of islands in the eastern Pacific Ocean, about 2,200 miles (3,500 kilometers) west of Chile. It is believed that the statues were made almost 1000 years ago by Polynesians, who lived there at the time and were made to honor their ancestors and bring good luck.
