EASTER MEMOIRS!!!! TRADITION AND THE TRUTH!!! 

Christ is Risen! What a great vlog your sharing your Easter celebration memories. Acknowledging that Jesus took all of our sin upon Himself in death that we may live blameless into eternity is the purest of grace--so right acknowledge Him in confession and stand up repentant for all of eternity!! In the 1960s our youth group led an Easter Sunrise service--we worked all morning getting ready for the community and the church--I was to preach--I hadn't eaten breakfast--by the time I was to stand and preach I got two or three minutes into the sermon and down I went. One little boy (about 6 years old) asked me later if what I did was passover...he'd heard passover and of course my fainting from low blood sugar and hearing an adult say that I passed out made him think that what I did was passover...new Easter tradition form 50+ years ago...

So glad you're using your platform to tell people the true meaning behind Easter. Like you both said, nothing wrong with having fun and knowing the truth at the same time. My family has the tradition of party and egg hunt on Saturday and church on Sunday. We always had a blast!

Thank you so much for sharing the REAL meaning of Easter. I got tears in my eyes because I just forgot how Jesus defeated death through his resurrection. I know, it sounds silly​ but is the truth. God bless you and keep you.

My Traditional Easter Celebration back then, is almost similar to yours Mel, obviously, African culture is almost similar in many countries! We really didn’t have the Easter eggs hunting, it’s something that I’ve seen here in England, lol😄. But one thing I remember, when I was a kid, when Easter was approaching, I was trying to be sooooo good, a very nice girl, just so as Mama could buy me new clothes for Easter😂😂😂. Without new clothes, it didn’t count as a fully Easter to me😂, I know it was stupid😂! Coming together, as family, with other relatives, celebrating together, Our Salvation through the Risen Christ!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Love you guys❤️🤗

Happy Easter, isn’t late to wish you🤗 Basically, as you said, Easter is one of the most Sacred and important season of the Christian year, it is the time that Jesus Christ reveals his unconditional love for us, being crucified, died and resurrected for our salvation!! I think I’ll need a while page to write about this, lol😂

She called him her master. You are her children if you do what is right and are not afraid of trouble. 7 Husbands, also live with your wife the way you know is right. Respect her because she is a woman. She is not as strong as a man. Also respect her because God has given her, as well as you, the blessing of life. Then when people say wrong things about you, they will be ashamed because they have talked wrongly about your good Christian life. 17 It is better to have trouble for doing right, if God allows it, than to have trouble for doing wrong. 18 For Christ died that once because of our wrong ways. He was good and he died for those who were bad. He did this to bring us to God. His body died, but his spirit had new life. 19 His spirit went and gave his message to people's spirits who were in prison. 20 In the days long ago, they did not obey God. God waited for them to do so while Noah was building the big house on the boat. A few people, only eight, were saved by going through the water. 21 The water of baptism is like that. It saves you. It does not save you because it washes dirt from your bodies. But it saves you because you bring yourselves to God with a clean heart. It saves you because Jesus Christ has been raised from death. 22 He has gone up into heaven. He is now at the right side of God. Angels, rulers, and governments obey him.
