I am 78 and a crafter myself. I truly enjoy warching how you makeover different items. You really get my imagination invigorating too. Keep it going.🤗.
These are some of the cutest spring/Easter DIYS I have ever seen. I don’t mind DT diys but the meaningful ones are the thrift flips to me. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed week darling ❤
With the wooden hanger I painted it a color and put some words across the top of it then I took one of the plastic placemats from the Dollar Tree and covered it with paper like or you could use one of the bags one of them printed and then put a bow on the top and be really cute
The ‘artichoke’ is a pine cone… symbolizes the pineal gland which symbolized wisdom hundreds of years ago. There are pine cones just like that all over the Vatican ❤❤❤
Love your videos Susie! But sorry 'I trekken', the Fontana della Pigna (fountain of the pinecone) at the Vatican is a pinecone, as you said. However, the piece Susie has is in fact an artichoke finial.
This is my first time watching your videos. I’m very impressed. The bunny in the frame that you put the clay ornate pieces from the molds gave me an idea to fix a sign I have for my bedroom. It was to plain and black and white. So I’m going to paint the trim with DIY clay based paint and add the trim pieces. I do have some of the IOD molds so I’m going to go to town. Thanks so much for the idea❣️
Cute ideas. I've had a pineapple, very much like your eggplant...so which ever color I choose, I really liked the white wax effect, so that's likely what I'm going to do.
I love all the pretty things you make! I get so inspired to make my own projects! 😊And by the way - I really like your cat! 😻They are SO curious! 😸😽Best wishes from Anne / Denmark
I love, love, love them ALL! The pants hanger hangings really made me smile! I love all the bunny stuff, & I just wanted to mention that we recently made over my kitchen, & the colors are teal & CORAL! Thank you for sharing your talents with us. God bless.
Wow, the dry brush method looks fantastic, so good for a raised pattern and the white wax is great for an indented pattern. So pleased I saw this. Thank you!
Love that Coral color....it always sez SUMMER to me! My question is......why do you use that tinsey tiney brush for white waxing? You are so right about that long wooden container.....it is a match holder for long fireplace matches. They hung near the fireplace and because the matches are so long, you could light different areas of the kindling wood and or paper using the same match.....
I only have one bigger wax brush I think it either was in the sink to be washed or in use elsewhere out of reach. lol I need to get more stencil and wax brushes. Or just some cheap chip brushes work well with wax too!
All of them were so cute but that church turned out adorable! My second favorite was the towels, I have never tried a transfer on a towel before but I will try it now, thanks for the inspiration.
Your vlog was such a pleasure to watch. I am going to add some coral pieces for Spring. Thanks for the inspiration. And using white paint in place of white wax is such a good idea. Painting and styling is such good fun, isn't it?
That's probably Nacho. He's older now and doesn't seem to care what I'm doing anymore. lol When he was a kitten he was always up in my crafting. I miss that.
It doesn't smell at all. I ordered it on Amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B0058V9KMK?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_k0_1_12&=&crid=30B1P14WR2LLN&=&sprefix=amazing+cast
