I've preferred Alec's Trump for a long while, but James' 'Trump Ramble' was so on point this time that I think he's really hit his stride! It was almost uncanny how effortlessly he slid between nonsensical topics in the exact right way.

SNL should take a page from the new Spider-Man movie....and have ALL the actors who played McDonald Rump (Baldwin, this guy, Daryl Hannon, and isn't there another?)........ go back and watch Daryl Hannon's SNL Trump. DH was a genius and still is. AB was not that good IMO, and this new one is a genius VERBALLY....but they made his hair and fatness LESS absurd than Real Trump, which makes no sense. It's suppose to SATIRIZE him, not make him look skinnier and less bizarre! (EX: why isn't he ORANGE???!!!)

My only problem is that Johnson needs to put on more padding as Trump was easily over 300lbs. during his Presidency, and he's even larger today. So, he needs at least 100 to 150lbs of extra padding.

I have to say, I didn't love Bowen Yang at first, but he has been terrific the last year or so. He has a style that is easy to use and hard to substitute -- i'm not sure if what has changed is that he has grown with his moment, or whether it took me a while to see it.
