These colorful birds are becoming regular visitors to my garden , sharing the kowhai tree with the tuis , bellbirds and kereru !

I have a pair here in Auckland that visits my garden, busy getting the nectar off my yellow australian frangipani tree.

I saw them eating apples off my apple tree last autumn so I did put out some sliced apple in winter but only the bellbirds and wax eyes came to eat it !

These birds also visit our garden eating the seeds from the Radermachera, tree.

That's cool . I've never actually heard of a Radamachera tree so I just googled it , it looks beautiful 😁

@@TonyPalmer We have a regular group of tui's that come and eat the five finger berries and eat the nectar of the bottlebrush tree, great to see these birds in the garden.
