Eastern Townships Motorcycle Trip

It doesn’t get any better than this: curving country roads, explosions of fall colour and flavours of a fresh harvest. Motorcycling the Eastern Townships in autumn should be on every rider’s bucket list. The fact that our favourite dirt road in Québec happens to be here is just a bonus.

Just got back from the Eastern Townships from a RyanF9 inspired vacation. We live in the southern Finger Lakes Region so aside from the 7+ hour highway drive we had a great time. Not sure how you managed to get so much done in such a short time. We found ourselves short of time with so much to do there. The Abbey and wineries were outstanding BTW! Thanks for the video and the inspiration to visit beautiful Quebec. Thinking about a new bike to for the next trip north!

Awesome! Hearing that we inspired someone to come experience this stuff is *so* rewarding. Cheers! ~RF9

As a closing in on 50 biker who has been riding for almost 40 years; it's really cool for me to see what you're doing to promote the sport/lifestyle. Keep up the great work.

Ryan- thanks for the preview! As a Vermont beekeeper, I am excited to learn about my Canadian counterparts and hopefully can ride my ADV bike up there soon to check it out. Oh- and if you ever are able to cross the border- Vermont has some pretty amazing dirt roads and gastronomic delights too!

Five years ago I went back to Coaticook to visit relatives for the first time. All I can say is wow. I love the Eastern townships. I’m from northern BC, so for me to be awed by a view means a lot. I only wish this video was longer and went into the townships in more depth. Keep up the good work.

If ever you get a chance to come back to the townships, you should take a ride through sutton, glen sutton (Route Scenic), up through Mansonville and either go straight up to Eastman which is an amazing ride or, my personal favourite, go back through Knowlton

I have a Strom 1000 2005 also and that is so comfortable and easy handling yet can keep up to many sports bike and loose them in the bush. The perfect bike. ;) Love your work and you should be proud of the quality and effort you put in.

I just got back from a trip to the Eastern Townships and took some of your tips. Laiterie de Coaticook is the best ice cream I've tried. What a place.

@FortNine, Should you ever find your way to the states, I would suggest the East Tennessee/North Carolina area. We have hot springs, mountains, beautiful views, and some of the twistiest roads in the nation. The tail of the dragon has 318 curves in just 11 miles of road! Just be careful! It claims lives every year. Our culture in "Appalachia" is unique and hospitable. Just be prepared to gain a few pounds from people telling you that you're too skinny and need to eat more as they bring you extra food. ;) I would suggest finding some AirBnB or bed and breakfasts to stay at so you can get to know some of the locals. This is where I call home and it's the best place on Earth that I've found. We also don't have a riding season as we typically only see maybe one or two snows/year except in the higher elevations in the mountains.

salut ! You might not be Quebec born and raised , but if you respect the land , the people and their culture , you're not so far from it ! Beau travail

hey Ryan, im making a weekend trip to the lac brome area in a couple weeks and seeing as it will be my first time riding in the area, when you said "my favourite dirt road" ive just gotta ask if you happen to know the name of it (if it has one), or any other dirt roads/trails worthy of mentioning. Thanks for awesome content and also as a side note, thanks for the service on the michelin t63 set that you guys shipped me darn quick. if you see me around montreal on a dr200 give me a salut, or sweet stickers works too i could use the extra horsepower :p cheers bud
