Can't really disagree that the penalty looked very soft & Quigley's challenge is sort of orange as he's definitely out of control & threw himself with a deal of force. We'd be worried as SUFC fans as Miley's has just come back after 3 months out. Thanks also for staying around & filming the fans, that was really good of you. We do that home & away as a tribute to the management & players for sticking with us when they weren't getting paid & could only put out 1 sub. Brighter times are round the corner. Good luck to you.

I must be honest,..it did not look like a penalty but Eastleigh lacked ambition later on,a reaction to the upcoming cup replay perhaps,..but I must applaud your camera work,..its excellent,anyway thanks for your all your effort and good luck in the Cup...A game against Manchester united awaits,..win on Tuesday night and this game fades into the memory,...COME ON EASTLEIGH 😊

I agree it looked a soft pen - but the ref had already warned the Eastleigh defender, and that seemed to swing it. Thought the tackle on Miley was an orange, more or less But was Quigley in 'control' as he lunged in? Hmmm... McDonnell's save in the second half from Sandat was top drawer, but the keeper had a busy afternoon, eh? Thanks always, Ahmad.

As a Southend fan i thought at the time the penalty was soft at best, seeing it back here then i really can't understand what the ref has seen to give it, though obviously i aint complaining lol .. we should really have won 3 or 4 nil on the gilt edged chances we passed up, coupled with the Eastleigh keeper making some excellent saves .. i'm not even gonna start on the foul by Quigley .. red red red red red red red

I don’t see a foul for the penalty, but that said it was justice for last season when an Eastleigh player dived to win a fee kick, which was converted. What goes around I suppose
