This is great bat. Hopefully, Easton will re-issue it. After swinging a 26oz with the Motherlode, it didn’t feel like a full oz. End Load as one would get with the Miken “Big Cat”.

I met Mariel at the Senior Softball Camp in florida. What a wonderful guy and softball player. I bought his bat and it’s quickly become my game bat. It’s outstanding.

Why doesn't anyone weigh both the hand and barrel at the same time using two scales? Add the two for total weight but keep scales at two levels to compensate for diameter difference. I guess that's splitting hairs, haha.

Since the bat was pretty hot out of the wrapper and the compression dropped quite a bit only after 130 swings, what is your thought on durability? My experience is the hotter it is out of the wrapper, the less durable it is. I went through 4 different senior bats last year that were hot out of the wrapper and none of them lasted more than 200 swings

I’d have to swing it more to find out. The problem is too many people want hot out of the wrapper. IT’s what sells.

I have Empire Mario Foster Red 28oz and when I make contact with the top or above the sweet spot of the barrel it doesn't feel good or sound that good, The truth is that with this bat the balls shoot out like rockets

Hot Butter is hot but has more handle flex. I prefer a stiffer handle.

Pocket Radar and it’s pointed in the direction we are hitting. It’s behind us 12-15 ft . Josh normally sets it up . He’s the Radar expert.

Question: ( I’m sure it’s been asked) when handle says 27oz but overall weight is 26oz how does that work? Like how can they call it a 27oz if it only weighs 26!?

It says it on the sticker when they're new, it's nominal weighting, meaning as long as it's close

I can see being 1/4oz off but that is a full oz off. You take the tape off and it is even lower. Something is not right there.

Weights are a bit off. 27oz but comes in at 26oz. 16.7+8.9=25.6 total. For a 27 oz? Anyone else see this as a bit off?

Anytime you weight something if you have a part rest on a surface other than the scale it will lose weight or even if your holding it! Go weigh yourself with your arms at your waist and then put your hands on the wall you will lose weight

@@Jennisch55 When did bats grow arms? Ha! Some people believe the true weight of a bat is in the hands and barrel only when actually there are five total spots on the bat that determine the true weight. Also refer to MOI instead of dead weight.

Fatguy shows: -total weight of the bat -weight of barrel -weight of handle He keeps the handle and barrel at the same place for all bats so that a viewer can assess how heavy the endload or handle is. The two weights shouldn’t equal the total weight of the bat because he’s simply trying to show how much the end of the barrel and the handle weigh for all bats to compare to.

@@MarraSoftball Then if there is missing weight, then the other two weights don't matter. If there is a .5oz weight missing, then it could be in the hands, handle beginning, or at the end of the barrel. So showing the dead weight of a bat sitting on a postal scale doesn't matter what it says on the hands or handle because it is inaccurate.
