This is a welcome move from Easttop. If pricing is similar to previous model then this will sell like hot cakes since no manufacturer until now has offered different keys in the budget segment.
I own the first version of the Forerunner, and it is a very good harmonica. Great sound, is comfortable and is worries-free as no valve issues. I really want to try this new version!
Yes, Forerunner is a good one without valves, updated version is more better specially improved slider sound, and add 12keys for choose. Thank you for supporting and welcome your feedback.
I from India. Running a Harmonica institute. Including online classes. I am a lover of Easttop, from the very beginning. I am so eager to make a review of it... Hope to get it soon. ❤️👍
Poorly tuned? I bought a Forerunner 2.0. I like, that the tones respond much better than with my Hohner 270. But some tones are poorly tuned. C5 occurs three times on the harmonica. 4 and 5 blow differ by 10 cent. 5 blow and 4 draw with sliders in differ by 20 cent! That is disappointing. What are your experiences? The Hohner 270 has deviations of only 1 cent. I'll probably keep the Forerunner anyway, because I can practice better as a beginner, because the tones are much more responsive.
First fix the screen printing on your cover plate. It gets erased in 15 days. Why such poor quality printing? I bought three of them in Eb, F#, Ab. All three of them numbering of holes have vanished in 3 weeks. You need to replace. Reeds also overlap. If you need to compete with the big timers, you can't palm off poor quality stuff.
I am living in New Zealand and have been using the first version for two years now. I already ordered the new version (Key of A) for a trial. If I am satisfied with the quality, I will buy the whole set, meaning 12 keys. If I buy the whole set, can I have any discount on the price?
I'm torn between the forerunner 2.0 and king dream. Price point on AliExpress is similar but I'm leaning towards no stuck wet valves...... Please help. What other performance differences are they between the two?
Are there any chromatics that don’t have the tonic note repeat in holes 4 and 5 ? I think it’s also on holes 8 and 9. Is there a harmonica where this does not occur? If so, that’s the one I want to try.
