Hi cousin's, i want to share with you all one of my all time favorite side-items that my late grandmother would always make when we would visit her in the summer. Trust me when I tell you, this is going to bring back that old skool memory of those "Southern Homemade Buttery Buttermilk Biscuits" just like grandma made from scratch. Cuz'ns do you all remember when grandma would bake these Biscuits, and soon as they came out the oven she would slice them in the middle & add more butter to them? And then we would sop them up w/ that good ole Fashioned 'Cane Syrup"? Lord, when I tell you I truly miss my grandmother, chile my recipe here will bring back those old skool memories cousin's! Remember cousin's to follow my instructions in my demonstration just as you all have seen me do in my video presentation to you all cousin's.
Ingredients & Items Needed:
* 2 & 1/2 Sticks of Salted Butter
* 2 & 1/2 Cups of White Lilly Self-Rising Flour (To make a smaller batch use only 2 cups Flour)
* 1/2 Cup of Flour to reserve for placing on our Parchment Paper or Counter to prevent our Biscuit Dough from sticking as we work our Biscuit Dough.
* 2Cups of Whole Buttermilk OR Low-Fat Buttermilk (Your Biscuits will still taste the same)!
* Reynold's Wrap Parchment Paper
* Rolling Pin
* Dough/Bench Scraper
* 9x13 Baking Dish OR Cookie Sheet
* Pastry Brush
* Sauce Pan (Use to melt our Butter to brush on top & around our Delicious Biscuits)!!
Pre-Heat Oven on 450 Degrees, & Cook our Biscuits for exactly 12-14 mins cousin's. Remember to set a side a Sauce Pan to melt our Butter so that we can brush on top & around our "Easy 3-Ingredient Southern Homemade Buttery Biscuits" cousin's!
