Easy 5 Minute Gak Recipe without using Borax 

This is a great 5 minute recipe for Gak that doesn't use Borax. In fact, there are basically only 3 ingredients: Metamucil, Water and a coloring agent like food coloring (or you can try kool-aid) or tempera paint. All you do is mix 1 Tbls of metamucil and 1 cup of colored water. Once it's desolved, put it in the microwave for 2 minutes on high. Mix it up. Then microwave again for 2 minutes on high. Take it out carefully because it will be super HOT. But once it is cooled, it is ready to be played with. My kids love it and it's a great quick S.T.E.M. activity if you need something to occupy your kids with.
