Works okay. Very compact. Supercheap. Yes, I too, snipped the part that sits on the fretboard. Next we need a homemade, rest-of-the-fretboard capo that doesn't obstruct the left hand, for playing in any key without transcribing.
Great video. Very good idea. Thank you. Wonder if the metal pin is soft enough to curl it into a loop instead of cutting it off. You could then easily attach a bit of string or fishing line for a loop to hang it from the tuner when not in use.
