When it come to any compress cabinets, I like to add some wood glue to every edge prior to 🪛 them together, this allows them to be way much sturdier. I also don't use the cardboard backing on them at all, instead I go to my local nearest big box store and purchase what known as thin wood flooring underlayment... I then paint them to my prefer color and then install them with glue and small screws to the back of the units, this will allow them to have an additional strength to the units, preventing them from wobbling around during installation to any wall. Believe me they tend to become muchhhhh more structure sturdier.

@@noelinthecityHey!!❤ No they aren’t mounted to the wall! Honestly they’re holding up well! I’m in a completely new space now, as I was in this particular space for about 5 months! They are with me now and holding up well. I do have wall anchors I intend on using but if I don’t, honestly it’ll still be fine. If you have little ones, as in crawling babies, or learning to walk, I suggest anchoring/mounting them! I hope this helps! Thank you so much for watching! ❤

I love this setup so much and I want to give you props on two counts; one, this is WAY more realistic for the average person’s budget and financial situation. Everyone wants to splash out like an influencer but real people aren’t balling like an influencer. And that’s okay, but that’s a whole other talk. And two, hardly anyone has the space to have a walk-in wardrobe, it’s just not realistic. Like you said, in other places in the world you’ll see gorgeous wardrobe’s…built into the bedroom. I really love that you made this previously unattainable thing completely doable. Definitely got me as a subscriber!

Thank you so much! I’m so happy! You actually get the purpose of the entire video! Social media, large influencers makes a lot of things unrealistic to the everyday person and in some cases where people can afford to do things, they’re looking for a cheaper option. Have I had a large space to have a customized closet before, yes but the reality of the situation is, this time around, I don’t. Having a wardrobe in your bedroom seems unrealistic to some but in most cases, it’s a lot of people’s reality! Thank you so much for watching and being so kind! ❤️ I appreciate you so much!

LW make sure you have hubby anchor those shelves to the wall, especially if you are going to fill the hanging rods. The more top heavy they are, the easier they will be to tip over because those shelves are not very deep. Such a nice look! I would love a closet system like this, only deeper so I can attach doors. You did a lovely job.

If you leave a space between two bookshelves and put a rod between them at the top you have a spot for long items

You know what?! Thank you for telling me to share! I fold them over on the hanger and then use the belt loop on the Jean and hook it on the hanger. If it doesn’t make sense, because I had a hard time figuring it when I first did 😭, this month I’m uploading a video of my closet space!
