Hey There! Firstly, thanks a lot for the awesome content. I am comparing energy efficiency of different materials used in construction using Revit, Green Building Studio and Insight. However I want to validate my results to be sure on their accuracy and legitimacy. Could you please suggest me a way of doing so?

Hi, thanks for the amazing comment. I really have very limited knowledge on Designbuilder. What you could do is read some journal articles where researchers used these software and validated their results. you could also run a sample space in all these and check the differences between them.

Hi Azra, I just want to ask if you know why is my Insight in Visualize the heating & cooling load is not showing. Im using revit 2020. Only PV is available.

Hello, I actually don't recommend the 2020 version because there have been a lot of complaints for this regarding the Insight plug in. Many of my followers have emailed me regarding the same issue, and changed to 2021 as I suggested. I think 2021 is best for solving your issue.

Hello good time. I calculated the ambient temperature in envi met for a street and modeled this street in revit. Now I want to calculate the energy analysis for this street by entering the ambient temperature that I have from envi met. Does revit allow you to manually enter the temperature for a specific hour or day and then calculate the energy? I would appreciate it if you could help me

Hi...actually u are supposed to install 2021 insight. Did u try to run any kind of simulation? Check if the one u installed works or not. If not, uninstall the 2020 insight and install 2021

Hi when I perform system analysis, it is showing that energyplus simulation did not generate a report. Can you explain why I get this always? It is very important to me for my project!

Hi. I am not actually sure why it would say this but a possible reason could be the software and plug in it self and how it was installed. Another reason could be the model. Sometimes if model is too complicated or not modelled in a proper way this could happen.

Hi, can someone help me with this, i would like to know if it is possible to change the degree tilt of solar panel in revit? and if anyone familiar with Bentley Openbuilding designer is it possible to apply solar panel on a building and run energy analysis your response will be much appreciated

how did you make base model?? can you please explain ive practical exam tomorrow

The base model is really a simple revit architecture model in a U shape. I have cut the ceiling and applied the Glass material to make skylights of different shapes. One side of the building is a curtain wall. If you know basic revit this should be pretty easy. Hope this helps.

Hi, you can Google REVIT 2021 INSIGHT PLUG IN, similar to what I have shown in the video and download it from their official website. After downloading you need to install it in your computer
