To anyone who wants to use more “stylish” clips on the first hairstyle, I suggest using clear tiny elastic bands to hold it in place and then place whatever clips you want over them!

I just want to say thank you, I have been getting so upset with my hair and myself because braiding my hair makes my upper arms hurt and the twist and put back was quick and simple! Plus it kinda looks like a braid😊 so thank you!!!

So glad I found this video ouf yours! Got my hair chopped and i like the length but the top hair ist layered and got a bit too short 🙄 love your ideas - i just take a bit more of my top hair for those styles and i can hopefully hide the weird layer 🤞🏻
You rawk the short hair! GIRL, YOU GORGEOUS! Have you tried mixing it up with the part off center? It'll give one side a bit more layer, but depending on how you style it, it can have that same 'messy' fun look.

practice makes perfect! just don't be intimidated and keep at it. no one taught me how to braid and I didn't learn until I taught myself how in my mid twenties! you can do it!
Thank you for the ideas for short hairstyle. This is exactly why I am scared to go shorter, because, I need them off my face during work and it is so easy to put them in bun. I will probably go shorter, ... and I will look forward to other ideas for short hair :-)

Hi! I’d love to see short hair styling ideas that do not involve pulling on hair all day with braids or even hair clips, bobby pins, etc. I’ve slight alopecia on the front of my hairline (androgenetic female-pattern alopecia) and was recommended by my dermatologist to just let my hair be free, so as to not worsen it with possible traction alopecia. I’ve curly hair, and usually I just dry my hair with a diffuser or let it air dry, but I’m tired of having the same curly hair style every day. So, maybe tips for styling curls differently, or styling the hair without curls but doing something more interesting than just straight (I’m a total beginner in hair styling, so anything like creating waves or interesting twists to the hair would be really appreciated).
I would love to see which of these styles can be done and how on a side part. My hair just won’t part in the center naturally. My part is always off to my right some. 🤷🏻♀️

Sectioning is just about dividing your hair in to workable layers. You can section differently for washing, styling, cutting, and coloring. I have thin hair, so for these styles I just divided my hair into three - top, middle, and bottom sections. Just play around with it!
