I just came across this video and immediately tried the biscuits. I didn’t have any cheddar cheese so I used grated fresh Parmesan and for the butter topping, I used garlic powder and a little onion powder added to the melted butter. I baked them and made one slightly larger to become a “bun” for my sloppy joe. Absolutely delicious. Love your channel. I’m trying to catch up on ALL your videos by going through the playlists. Keep up the great work. ❤

Jenn, i believe you misspoke when you said all you add to that Formula L Southern Biscuit Mix is water. You had me getting up and double-checking my own package in the pantry. 😅 It calls for buttermilk! However, I fully agree that it is hands-down the best biscuit mix Ive ever tried. And this is 20+ yrs into my cooking "experience" as a wife and mother! Ive seen a few comments asking where to find it - Walmart is the only place Ive found it here in Pennsylvania after striking out at both our neighborhood supermarkets. I knew you would love the Formula-L Biscuit mix. It is the best, easiest way to make a biscuit that tastes like it's from scratch and so nice and fluffy. My favorite! I enjoyed the sit down at the end. I can see you being on TV advertising the dishes you make and the vessels in which they are cooked and presented!! ❤
It’s got to be a cookbook! Your counters are normally cleared off and I could have swore you made a designated spot for your cookbooks. Plus, I see a pen next to an open cookbook, so I’m guessing you have a cookbook coming out!

I have been dipping fries in gravy for over 25 years! It’s so good! I like regular fries and like kfc, Popeyes fries in their gravy too. Canada also does a pooteen fry dish that’s good too. I still think your news is a cookbook. That’s the popular thing right now and your hints tell that too. Could be a cooking newsletter/blig too but I don’t understand just a long time before telling 😂

Thanks for yummy looking recipe. I see some other recipes bake the biscuits separately 🤔. Would you say that the high temp you bake it at keeps biscuits from getting soggy?
