My mum is going to Bangladesh on Friday to visit her sick mother. I'm going to try out your recipes as I'd like to taste the difference & Inshallah it all goes well, food looks delicious. You made it simple
Hi. No. You don't have to add the garam masala at the end. The garam masala gives the curry a delicious fragrance. But you can skip this part. The curry will still taste the same.
Hi sister. So sorry for the late reply. I add more garlic/ginger to citrus like lemon, boroi, belfoi, hatkora etc. It brings out the flavor more. I hope I helped answer your question sis. Eid mubarak. Stay safe. 💖💖💖
Hi. Coriander is already added in the curry powder. But in place of the curry powder you can add coriander powder instead. The curry powder makes it smell and taste devine. 💖
Hi Jahanara. I use coriander powder sometimes too. I love using curry powder. And there is coriander powder mixed in the curry powder already. I use Lalah's Genuine Madras Curry powder. Plz give it a try. It brings so much flavor and fragrance to the curry. If not, you can always add coriander powder in place of curry powder. It will still taste good. Thank you for your lovely question sister!!! Plz pray for me and stay connected!!! 💖💖💖

Afa, is it absolutely necessary to add paprika? Wouldnt the chili powder itself be enough? I know paprika has a different taste itself and probably adds another dimension of “jal” and also add more vibrant of a color, but could I leave it out?
Thank you for responding! -Also, could you make a tenga recipe please? 😂 I really love tenga, but the problem is I cannot eat fish/seafood at all. Could you show a recipe that doesnt involve fish please??? The only things I know how to make is kacha aam aur daal and tomato tenga. I would really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
