EASY BEGINNER CONCRETE DRIVEWAY ADDITION! 

I'm an engineer and I got to see my first bridge deck pour using a Bidwell machine, those guys hustled. 9 inch deck, 267 yards in about 5 hours in borderline freezing weather (we had to heat it from beneath and blanket it). It brings me great appreciation for the work you do, you make it look way too easy. You would be in astronomical demand in Michigan right now as I'm sure you are out there.

I was a Concrete Finisher for 30 years we've always had to get on our hands and knees with knee boards and mag and steel trowl everything and God forbid if we use the pool trowl we were told if you used a pool trowl on flat work it ment that you couldn't finish conceret now I cant even walk anymore great video

They don’t wanna remove the pavers on edge of existing driveway. That would been good idea. Saw cut out and move them along fence.

hi,just wanna say love your vids,great content and even the narration is great, Wanna ask a question,here in australia for garage slabs they use mesh rio thats already welded,so concreters just buy them already welded,they are in assorted sheet sizes,also in varying sizes, also they use little cups of varying sizes called bar chairs that they just put under the rio mesh that lifts it of the floor, so my question is do you guys use little plastic bar chairs that lift the rio of the ground? cheers

Nice job I like to use 4" peice of roll roofing on exsist drive way. U can clean it and re use it.

I would drill and dowel some bars into existing slab and splice them with the new reinforcements, which will eliminate future differential settlements between the old and the new slabs.

hi, how would you quote a job like this? is it based on sqft or just evaluating what the concrete + labor/material cost would be for the job and just stamping a lump sump value on top of that? Just curious as I am a new to the business side of this type of contracting work with my partner.
