I just heard the idea very recently... If we are already using Hydra (or in case of Orb build generate), do we need Firebolt Enhancement ? 2 more talent points into Hydra, and it will handle burning bosses (on trash it doesn't matter much), and extra enhancement slot could be used for something else opening some crazy options.

Blizzard is great for farming pit. But frozen orb still works great for farming, playing it right now and its still really strong. Boss damage is a problem obviously but you can get around it with very fast stagger

Frozen orb has decent boss damage if you make it correcty. Currently I can facetank T75 Pitbosses staggering them 3 times without even fighting the shadow clones. Will post a guide for that today and it works great.
yeah it's really a big deal, you basically need 2 rings and gloves with greater affix attack speed and it just takes a long time to get those. Until you have those stats, really all you can do is play ancient flame... But frozen orb still works great for farming, playing it right now and its still really strong. Damn ok found one early this season hoped it’s useful 😅 & why du u have the ice blades aspect on the ring 2 if Unding play that skill? Is it just cause the vuln dmg u get ?

In the transition from early gear to late gear, I see the bulk of changes are from [Res Cost Reduction & Dam to Dist] to [Atk Speed & Ice Spike Dam]. Can you please explain the difference? I'm about to transition. Thanks
I am struggling in Pit Tier 61 with Frozen Orbs, might switch to Blizzard. The boss damage of Frozen orb is so low :( could you make an updated video with your gear you used for Tier 75? I get one shotted often. I have most of the uniques you mentioned already (and masterworked), so switching to Blizzard should be fairly easy.
Why the focus on attack speed? Is it because you use a staff now and the animations are too slow with it? Maybe I missed it, but there was a strong focus on attack speed and mana regeneration in this guide and it seems like high attack speed would just burn through your mana. Great guide as always!
@@Rrr20058bvsc Ya that makes sense. I was just a bit confused because last season's blizzard build used a focus but I guess if it's based on weapon damage now you have to use a staff and season 4 allows for attack speed on more gear (vs just gloves before) so now it's a priority
Dont mix things up. There was a very important change that Glacial Aspect now scales with weapon damage. Since the Staff has higher damage than wand and Focus, you use the staff. In the old build you could roll attack speed on your focus and also the attack speed elixir was 20% while the new attack speed elixir is just 15%. Overall Sorc has very limited access to attack speed now, but attack speed still being the superior mod.
@@GoldfarmingGuide Ya I'm just wondering because it seems like you just cast a few blizzard's and move on. Why does casting them a bit faster make such a difference? It seems like it's THE primary stat you are concerned with so I'm just trying to figure out why. Season 3 Blizzard I don't think I ever heard it mentioned and you couldn't roll IAS on Focus or weapon then either.

Hey Man, good Video ❤ Im playing a variant of yours. I have control instad of exploit for a bit more dps and 20% dmg to daze on my boots to get some boss dps. Im using tal rasha but i want to try a ring with shredding blades and Int/dmg rolls. Maybe its better. Atm im at pit 93 but struggling hard against the Bosses.... missing dps
@@GoldfarmingGuide my goal is 100, should be possible. Watching your video tells me, that you do a bit more dmg than i do. I play dagger/offhand. You can easiely go for 90+ .

@@GoldfarmingGuide thought so. build is working really well with a few tweaks on my end. questions though. I've been using control instead of shredding blades aspect, is the 25% dmg really worth more than the 35% to cc'd mobs. I get it is probably better on single target but we get the 35% from control when we stagger them. 2. could it be more dps speccing into ice blades for enchantment with shredding blades aspect, losing easy Elementalist 5%, but replacing it with temper to weapon for electric dmg to get it back, and constantly have ice blades up for free as we use cd's and cast it manually (plus more vulnerable chance) for more mana/stacking dmg with conjuration mastery. just a theory. I dont have resources to test it out right now. But maybe you've already tried it? Sorry, wall of text. I just really like this build and really appreciate you putting it out here for us.
So for HC, would just allowing the Hydra to get the burning damage work ok? Obviously I need the flame shield enchant for one, could use frozen orb for vuln. and rely on burning from hydras?
It will not make your build stronger. Blizzard doesnt benefit from shako. And starless skies you can use to fix your resource, but you will loose a lot of damage and attack speed.
Man, really missing lucky hit for that freeze chance and mana restore… I really like this board to adapt it and use it for my Blizzard Orb build… Do you think it’s not worth it to put the blizzard aspect on a necklace and use and off hand?
Wand and Focus is pretty much dead in Season 4. It will only make sense for builds which very heavily rely on cooldown reduction. Other than that, 2 hand is million times better.

@@GoldfarmingGuide what am i doing wrong, i have your build almost identical, yet against say uber lilith i cannot hardly do enough damage to even destroy the blood blisters before they explode and do massive damage to me, what am i doing wrong? My glyphs are all level 15 or higher as well gear is all maxed out i am level 100. Do i need to put deep freeze or somethi g instead to do more damage or

so ive build this and ive use tal rasha and eso boots i am level 100 but i am getting lessthan half damage of level 100 build ive check everything twice any idea what i might done wrong please elp this is really frustrating
@@GoldfarmingGuide Oh I get it now. I realize you said this in your video but it finally clicked. Thank you. So all you need to do is crit a boss or kill an enemy with a crit to activate the aspect of ancient flame's attack speed bonus for 3 seconds
Frozen Orb is much better. But you also need much better gear. Frozen orb does not really "lack" single target if you build it properly. Just wait for my build guide today ;)

@@GoldfarmingGuide they are not though? They have 2 different aspects and they have different affixes. One has atk speed + crit damage + int. The other has atk speed + crit chance + damage. I wanted to know which is most optimal to swap out for tal rasha ring
@@GoldfarmingGuide You even talk about using tal rasha ring for the 15% dmg for each element and talk about tempering poison or shadow dmg onto weapon to trigger the 4th 15% dmg boost

Frozen orb is good damage its still a good build but still it has been VERY heavily nerfed. You go from 25 Conjurations down to like 10-12. It's still a good build though and I will publish guide for that build today.
I already have Tibault and Tal Rasha on 80lvl. Woud you recommend to switch to any of these and switch what ring, if any? :D Maybe Tibaults are not needed because mana is not issue and you loose healing and armor? And Ring is not such a boost? Or is it OK to use them and you just don't have them because it's low budget guide? :) Thx for reply
You can use them, but they are not as good as legendarys. Tibaults is very far behind pants with just intelligence rolled on. And Tal rasha ring is just much worse then tempered ring with aspect on as well.
Finally got to 100 necro doing 150000 ya a lot but still can’t kill lill over there at all I gotta say I was pumped to have a new game kinda but wtf after actually getting to 100 to be able to start master working shit and how terrible it is to actually work towards and then my fist lvl 5 goes to resistance wtf the tempering is stupid im thinking I get to ancestral and I’ll have 5 rolls for 2 no it’s fucking 5 total and seems like the rolls are fucking riged like the resource one that only has 3 I seem to only get the luck hit one so after not being able to kill lill after having 150000 and I still can’t fucking do it bc u die in one hit no matter what just have to finally say season 4 sucks balls
