I've always been using this. But slightly differently. With two hooks on either side and the twisted side was attached to the main line ( with swivel ) :))

In theory for me it's a great video and looks simple however it's so fast is not easy to follow. Despite rewinding tons and pausing in still struggling to get it right! I'll check for other options personally

The point is to make the leader stiffer, so it sticks out further away from the main line without sagging and tangling the hook into it. I do mine a li’l different. After twisting the line, i tie a double overhand knot at the end were the “T” is going to be at. Then tie the dropper loop knot to make the “T”. It makes a little more stiffer. And it looks prettier too.
