I’m so shocked a lot of people are just now finding out about this. This dish(what our family calls it) is called a toad in the hole

this is my comfort food!!! my mom used to make it for my brother and i every saturday morning before i go off to my activities. my favourite part is the buttery center piece of the bread😋 she called it eggs in a nest

Eggs in a basket is great and the little bread disks make perfect French toast pancakes

I made this and trust me, it was amazing! I would recommend adding some green onion and some hot sauce if you like it spicy for even more taste. 10/10 would recommend

I used to eat this as a kid and everyone called it eggs in a basket. No clue why, but it was still sooo good!

So alot of people are saying that the backside is black but I have a solution so you take the bread cut out the circle and then is you not frying both sides of the egg you fry the top side first and then wait for the pan to heat up so as soon as you put the eggs on they are almost fried and then it most likely will not burn as bad. I hoped this helped

Hey guys let me tell u that it will be good if u make it in oven First 1. Grease the plate with oil cut the 2 pieces of bread like in the video 2. Place 2 bread on the plate and add 1 egg in the hole 3. Now lift a uper bread a little bit so the egg white reaches the corner 4. Now add the oil in the hole some salt black pepper oregano u can also add cheese(by adding oil egg will be cooked) 5. Microwave it in oven for 30 to 50 sec it depends on how cooked you want the egg yolk Actually I didn't see it somewhere I made this myself so I have no idea u guys like it or not
