Ingredients
Bread slices-6 (gives you 3 pockets-cut 3 slices together to get it compressed)
Beaten Egg-1 or cornflour 3tbsps mixed with water to make batter
Bread crumbs/rusk powdered/oats powdered-1/2 cup
Filling
1 onion chopped
Grated carrot-1/4cup
1 chopped cucumber
Cooked shredded chicken-1/2 cup or grated paneer/cheese
Lemon juice-1tsp
Pepper powder-1tsp
Mayonnaise-21/2tbsp(use vegan version for veg)
Salt a pinch
Method
Cut disc shapes from bread using a lid.Powder the edges of bread in mixer jar dry roast and make bread crumbs.
Now take two bread disc and dip in beaten egg or cornflour slurry and coat in bread crumbs.Fry them in medium hot oil flipping sides till golden brown.Drain and keep.
Filling
Mix the ingredients given under filling and prepare filling.Take the bread discs and cut into half.Now fill.the stuffing into bread pockets.Serve hot.Your yummy bread pockets are ready.
